Isaiah 10:20 "And it shall
come to pass on that day that the remnant of Israel and those of the House of Jacob that escape shall no more rely upon the one that smote them."
This would teach the nation to rely on Him alone instead of turning for succor and support
to the very nation that He used to strike them.
Netanyahu: We Are Committed to 'Two-State Solution': Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu expresses his support for a two-state solution during a reception for
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday once again expressed his support for a two-state
solution to end the Israeli-Arab conflict.
Speaking during a reception
for foreign diplomats in honor of Israel’s Independence Day, Netanyahu said, "We are committed to our aspiration for peace, a peace that will be based on the principle of two states for two peoples, a Jewish state alongside a demilitarized Palestinian
state (INN, 4/17/2013).
It is interesting to note that the Bible makes reference to a fictitious nation confronting Israel. "They (Israel) have provoked My jealousy with a non god, provoked My anger
with their vanities. Thus, I will provoke their jealousy with a non people, provoke their anger with a foolish nation" (Deuteronomy 32:21).
The "two-state solution" has long been the fundamental basis for seeking a peaceful resolution, but one accepted only by the Israeli government, not by the Arab world. Successive Israeli governments, including the current one have in
direct contradiction to the truth even agreed to acknowledge the existence of a "distinct Palestinian people" - one entitled to self-determination, to a homeland, political independence and to armed security forces in the land of Israel - the exact opposite of what the Mandate of Palestine recommended!
Arab League Ministers
Discuss Israel-PA Peace: An Arab ministerial committee met on Monday in Qatar to discuss ways to revive the peace process between Israel and the Palestinian Authority and plans to send a mission to Washington, the Arab League chief said, according
"This meeting was to discuss the mission of the Arab delegation that will visit Washington on April 29," the organization’s
secretary general, Nabil al-Arabi, told reporters.
The talks of the Arab Peace Initiative Committee were attended by Palestinian Authority
Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, and chaired by Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem al-Thani, reported AFP.
said before the meeting that the delegation would go to the UN Security Council in New York. It is not clear if the delegation will still visit the UN headquarters.
The proposal to send a delegation to New York was agreed at an Arab summit held in Doha last month.
The PA’s foreign minister Riyad al-Malki told AFP that the delegation being sent to Washington would meet U.S. President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry.
The team will include the foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, as well as the Arab League
chief, he said.
Reports on Monday indicated that Kerry intends to bring back to life the 2002 Arab peace initiative, which
offers diplomatic recognition of Israel in return for its complete withdrawal from Judea and Samaria and a resolution of the "Palestinian refugee" issue (INN, 4/9/2013).
Anyone who thinks that Israeli concessions and withdrawals will solve the conflict with Iran is in for a BIG surprise. Both the US and Israel are committed to stop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons,
but the United States is also committed to prevent Israel from attacking prematurely.
Prematurely, before what? Sanctions...diplomacy...
Both the US and Israel are committed to the establishment of
a "Palestinian" Arab state.
King Abdullah II of Jordan: "Solving the Palestinian problem is the key to reduce the Iranian nuclear threat."
"If there are those that are saying that Iran is playing mischief, then I
say it is being allowed to play mischief...The platform they use is the injustice of the Palestinians and Jerusalem. So if you start taking those cards off the table, then Iranian influence on the Mediterranean through Hizbullah and Hamas in Gaza diminishes
or becomes non-existent… By dealing with the core issue, that's when you start taking cards away from the Iranian regime."
He said that U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, U.S. Middle East envoy George Mitchell and American General
James Jones all accept his theory (King Abdullah: Jordan Was Better Off without Peace with Israel, INN, 04/06/10).

A-Jad: PA State First Step to Israel's Demise: Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinijad says the
recognition of a PA state by the United Nations is just the first step to Israel's end. "Recognizing the Palestinian state is not the last goal. It is only one step forward towards liberating the whole of Palestine,"
The Zionist regime is a center
of microbes, a cancer cell and if it exists in one iota of Palestine it will mobilize again and hurt everyone."
"It is not enough for them to have a weak, powerless state in a very small piece of Palestine. They should unite to establish a state
but the ultimate goal is the liberation of the whole of Palestine," he said. "I urge the Palestinians never to forget this ideal. Forgetting this ideal is equal to committing suicide. It would be giving an opportunity to an enemy which is on the verge of collapse
and disappearance." (INN, 8/26/2011).
Iran Offers Aid to Palestinian Authority to Defeat Israel: Iran tells Gaza’s Hamas leader Haniyeh it is offering “scientific and technological experience” to the PA for a
“victory” over Israel. Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi told Haniyeh Saturday of “the need for Palestinian adherence to the basic principles of resistance as the key ingredient for their victory against Israel,” ...
Haniyeh replied, “Muslims through full unity and with the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran will liberate Al Aqsa mosque [on the Temple Mount] in the future.” (INN, 2/12/2012).
Yaalon Meets Hagel: The U.S. is Our Best Friend: Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon met on Sunday evening with his visiting American counterpart, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel.
During the meeting, Yaalon expressed his condolences to the American people over the terror attack at the Boston Marathon last week, which claimed the lives of three people and wounded
more than 100 others.
Yaalon also thanked Hagel for arriving in Israel so close to the beginning of his term in office and said, "The United
States is not only a strategic partner of Israel, but also our best friend." (INN, 4/22/2013).
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran applauded the decision to nominate Chuck Hagel as U.S. Secretary of Defense. Why?
Because Senator Hagel is a long-time advocate of "engaging" the Islamic Republic. Hagel wishes to perpetuate the failed policy of confronting America's enemies by way of cordial talks. So while the administration talks,
Iran will further develop its nuclear weapons.
Consider Hagel's track record. As a member of the United States Senate, Hagel opposed imposing economic sanctions on Iran and opposed designating Iran's Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization.
Keep in mind that the Revolutionary Guards are the very ones responsible for arming the Iraqi insurgency and killing American soldiers.
Hagel even opposes supporting Israel if it attacks Iran's nuclear program. Instead Hagel believes the U.S.
should turn a blind eye to terrorist tenets, and magically "normalize" relations with the terrorists. Hagel explicitly endorsed such an approach, in his signed letter to President Obama (secureamericanow.org).
Former Military Intelligence Chief: ‘Iran Has Crossed the Red Line’: But the head of the research
division at Military Intelligence does not believe an all out war is imminent. According to Yadlin, Iran has already “crossed the new red line drawn by Israel.” (Jewish Press, April 23rd, 2013).
A nuclear Iran would pose an immediate, existential threat to states both in the Middle East and Europe, but will trigger a huge arms race in the Middle East and Europe, which will fuel $?$ into a hard
pressed American economy.

Hagel: Arms Deal a Sign of 'Ironclad' U.S. Support for Israel: U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck
Hagel and his Israeli counterpart, Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon, on Monday hailed a major arms deal as a sign of "ironclad" U.S. support for the Jewish state after talks on Iran's nuclear drive and Syria's war.
Speaking at a joint news conference
with Yaalon in Tel Aviv, Hagel confirmed the two had agreed on a multi-billion dollar weapons deal that will see Israel receiving an impressive array of advanced U.S. missiles and aircraft.
On Tuesday morning, Hagel will meet Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu before leaving for a brief stopover in Jordan, then on to Riyadh
and Abu Dhabi, where he will wrap up details of the $10 billion arms deal that will also provide missiles to Saudi and U.S. F-16 fighter jets to the UAE (INN, 4/23/2013).
Iran: US-Israel Arms Deal Only Serves to Destabilize Region: Iran has denounced a deal for the US to sell advanced missiles and aircraft to Israel, saying the move will only serve to destabilize
"This kind of aid will only lead to instability and insecurity in the region," foreign ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast told reporters at his weekly press conference, according to the AFP news agency.
US Defense Secretary
Chuck Hagel, who touted the deal during his trip to Israel, has said it sends Iran a "very clear signal" that the military action against Iran and Syria are both viable options (INN, 4/23/2013).
Peres: Obama Will Attack Iran if Diplomacy Fails:
President Shimon Peres said that he believes that U.S. President Barack Obama will attack Iran’s nuclear facilities if diplomatic efforts fail.
"I have no doubt that if diplomatic talks fail with Iran and Tehran doesn't stop accelerating its nuclear development – U.S. President Barack Obama will conduct a military attack against Iran," Peres told the Israel Hayom newspaper
this week, in an interview ahead of Israel’s 65th Independence Day next week.
"Preventing Iran from acquiring a
nuclear weapon isn't only an Israeli interest, but a global and an American interest. As long as the U.S. is in the lead — why shouldn't we use its assistance?" Peres said.
"It could be that the Iranians are trying to buy time, but they are also losing. The situation in Iran is greatly deteriorating, the economy is collapsing, and the
people understand this very well," said Peres (INN, 4/13/2013).
US, Canada Thank Fayyad, 'Strong Partner' : The US and Canada praise resigning Palestinian

Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird also expressed his nation’s concern
over Fayyad’s resignation, saying he was “saddened and deeply disappointed” with the decision.
Fayyad has been a “trusted and dedicated interlocutor and friend
of Canada,” Baird said, adding that he hoped the economist would “continue to advance the cause of peace and continue to work to improve the lives of the Palestinian people” (INN, 4/14/2013).

God's purpose in sending enemies against Israel and the Jews in our time is not to destroy them but only to bring us to repent with
all our hearts (Rabbi Avraham Greenbaum).
"Every time the
name SHLOMO appears in Song of Songs, it is a holy name of God, who is the King of Peace" (Talmud Shevuos 35b). In the sense of punishment, the word "mussar" is used in the context of "mussar HaShem," or "the punishment
Isaiah 53:5 "But he was pained BECAUSE OF our (the gentiles') transgressions, crushed BECAUSE OF
our (the gentiles') iniquities; THE CHASTISEMENT OF OUR welfare/PEACE (MUSSAR SHELOMENO) was upon him, and with his wound we were healed." For Israel was chastised so that there be peace for the entire world (Rashi).
Isaiah 53:6 “We have all strayed like sheep, each of us turning his own way, and HaShem inflicted on him the iniquity of us all.” We (the gentiles) sinned
by inflicting punishment upon Israel. Such oppression is often described as “Hashem’s punishment” (Isaiah 10:5, Hab. 1:12), for He decreed that it should happen (Abarbanel):
”If his (David’s) sons forsake My Torah and do not walk in My judgments, If they profane My statutes and do not keep My commandments, I shall punish their transgression with a rod, and their iniquity with stripes" (Psalms
“...so that when he (Solomon) goes astray from the Torah, I will chasten him with the rod of men” (II Samuel
7:14). This refers to Rezon the son of Eliada, who rose up as an ADVERSARY (Hebrew: SATAN) to him: “and with the stripes of the sons of Adam.”
Kings 11:4-25 "And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned away from the LORD, the God of Israel, who ...had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods; but he kept
not that which the LORD commanded... and thou hast not kept My covenant and My statutes, which I have commanded thee,..
"And the LORD
raised up an adversary (SATAN) unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; he was of the king's seed in Edom. And God raised up another adversary (SATAN) unto him, Rezon the son of Eliada,.. And he was an adversary (SATAN) to Israel all the days of Solomon, beside the
mischief that Hadad did; and he abhorred Israel,.." The adversaries would come to test and try the House of David, to see if they would remain faithful to God’s Torah.
Isaiah Ch. 10 provides us with timely lessons as to how we should see and respond to the protracted campaign of the nations of the world against Israel today.
"WOE ASSYRIA, ROD OF MY WRATH." (10:5): Isaiah (Ch. 10) teaches that the nations; USA, EU, Iran, Arabs; "Palestinians"; the UN etc., that RISE UP against Israel today are nothing but God's rod of chastisement; MUSSAR SHELOMENOH (Isaiah 53:5, see II Sam. 7:14, Psalms 89:29-33, 1 Kings 11:4-25), "Hashem's punishment,"
used as a tool to accomplish a specific purpose; to bring us to repentance; return and take hold of His Torah (Isaiah 27.4-5),
"Oh let him take hold of My strength that he make peace for Me" (v 5): God appeals to Israel to take hold of His Torah, which
is His "strength", for this will assuage His anger and frustration at not being able to take vengeance on His enemies, and He will then have peace from the attribute of Justice, which will no longer
be able to make accusations against Israel (Rashi).
Jihad Terror Group Claims 'Credit' for Eilat Rocket Attack: A
Salafi Muslim jihadist group has claimed responsibility for Wednesday morning’s rocket attack on the Israeli Red Sea resort city of Eilat.
“The lions of the Mujahedeen Shura Council in the Environs of Jerusalem managed to target occupied Eilat with two Grad rockets on the morning of April 17, and withdrew safely,”
a statement posted on jihadist web sites said. There were no details indicating the site from where the rockets had been launched, AFP reported (INN, 4/17/2013).
God sends the nations against Israel (Isaiah 10:5-6)
in order to rebuke and chastise it. After using them as His ”rod of anger;” as a tool to used to accomplish a specific purpose, God will punish them for their arrogance (10:12-14).
Rashi explains that God's purpose in sending Sennacherib was to take vengeance on the Ten Tribes and on the sinners in the cities of Judah that he overran, and to CAUSE SUCH FEAR among the inhabitants
of Jerusalem that they would be humbled, repent and turn to God.
"For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall be accomplished, and Mine anger shall be to their (the nations´) destruction" (Isaiah 10:5-26, 17:12-14). Having served his purpose, to cause such fear among the Israelis, that they would
be humbled, repent and turn to God; Sennacherib (or Gog and Magog, God's axe and saw of retribution) would be CUT DOWN in retribution for his overweening arrogance;
"For he said, "With the strength of my hand I accomplished it, and with my wisdom, for I am clever, and I remove the
boundaries of peoples, and their positions have I plundered, and I lowered many inhabitants..." (Isaiah 10:13-14, see Ezekiel 38:12-13, 36:2,5, Psalms 83).
“Should the axe boast itself against Him that heweth therewith?" (Isaiah 10:15).
Having served his purpose, Sennacherib would be cut down in retribution for his overweening arrogance. Sennacherib
would be overthrown through a miracle which would bear comparison with the overthrow of the Egyptians at the Sea of Reeds (Exodus 15:9, Ch 14-15) and the future owerthrow of the forces of Gog and Magog ((Zechariah 12:9, Jeremiah 30:7-11, Ezekiel 39, Tsefaniah
And that very night an angel came and wiped out his entire camp.
Sennacherib was merely a tool in God's hand AND CAN DO NO MORE THAN GOD GIVES HIM LICENSE TO DO:
WHO IS SATAN? Satan is one of the many angels mentioned in the Bible. It is worth noting that the Hebrew word for angel is malach, meaning “messenger.”
Throughout the Bible, an angel is a messenger of God who carries out the divine will of the Almighty. There is not one example in the Jewish Scriptures where any angel, Satan included, ever opposes God’s will.
Isaiah 10:20 "And it shall come to pass on that day (in the days of Moshiach) that the remnant of Israel and those of the House of Jacob that escape shall no more rely upon the one that smote them."
This would teach the nation to rely on Him alone instead of turning for succor and support to the very nation that He used to strike them. Likewise we hope that Israel
will soon be cured of the malady of placing its hopes on an ally (the USA) that constantly pursues policies which have the effect of undermining the nation's security.
Instead of worrying of present-day Persia will harm Israel, we should repent with all our hearts and trust in God (Daniel 12:1, Jeremiah
30:7-11, Zech. 12:9).
"The frightened Jewish nation was warned by Assyria, that no other nation had stood up to an Assyrian siege. Hezekiah’s trust in God prevailed, however, and the Jewish king persuaded his people not to lose trust in the Almighty. Because of this national spiritual affirmation, God zealously saved the Jewish people
from Sennacherib’s powerful army in a miraculous fashion. In one night an angel killed 185,000 soldiers, in the military camp of the Assyrians" (Rabbi Tovia Singer).

"Did you know that North Korea helped Syria build a nuclear reactor that Israel had to then bomb in 2007? So there is a link between

In the spring of 1945, the sounds and horrors of World War II ceased, and the last vestiges of the European Jewry, emerged from the death camps and the killing sites
– one survivor per town and two per family (Jeremiah 3:14-15), battered, embittered, orphaned, with neither communities nor homes and without a close relative waiting anywhere in the world... (To Bear Witness, יָד וָשֵׁם, Isaiah 56:5).
On November 29, 1947, the United Nations resolved to terminate the British Mandate for Palestine and partition Eretz Israel into two states; a Jewish one and an Arab one. Jordan, is located on Israel's eastern-most

”From the ashes of the Holocaust the nation arose, ingathered from a hundred countries,
and flowed along timeless routes to the ancient homeland” (Chaim Herzog, manifesto for Israel’s 40th Independence Day).
Survivors played a major role in the defense of the newly declared Jewish
state: "Helpless, humiliated, dejected, totally degraded and starved survivors that barely have skin covering their bones - how is it that those Jews that managed to survive in such a state of physical and psychological despair in 1945….after the most
horrible chapter of persecution against Jews in 2,000 years….how in such a short period of time did world Jewry recover in a mere three years and find the strength to win the war of independence in 1948 against superior odds and firepower?
There can only be one answer….The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! Logically, Israel should never have survived the war of independence in 1948. A people, poorly armed, devastated by the Holocaust with little
more than skin and bones (Ezekiel 37:1-11) prevailed against well equipped enemies! (Eliezer Braun; Shuva Israel).
David Ben-Gurion-Israel’s 1st PM (1948), said: The renaissance of Israel
