The Eleventh Horn: "...that had eyes and a mouth: speaking arrogantly,.. I looked and the horn that was like this waged war with the holy ones and overwhelmed them. Until the Ancient of Days came and gave revenge to the high holy ones, and the time arrived that the holy ones (the restored, rectified saints of Israel) inherited the kingdom" (Daniel 7:20-22). Rashi identifies this horn with Titus, R. Saadiah Gaon identifies it with Ishmael (Islam), which took "the beauteous land," Israel, from the Romans (Daniel 8:9-10).
Daniel 7:23 "The fourth beast represents a fourth kingdom..." Daniel 2:41 "And what you saw, the feet and the toes-which were partly of potter's clay and partly of iron-so it will be a divided kingdom..." The Roman Empire came to be dominated by Edom (Esau) and Ishmael, represented by Christianity and Islam; Both, one as strong as iron, the other weak as pottery - comprise the latter day "fourth kingdom" (Abarnel).
Palestinian Authority Suppresses ‘Arab Spring’ Uprising: Palestinian Authority security forces Saturday wounded several Arabs in peaceful rallies by the
world-wide Hizb Ut-Tahrir
which supports a caliphate regime. Injuries were reported in Hevron and Kalkilya after security forces used gunfire to disperse the rallies, and another demonstration was silenced in the PA capital of Ramallah, north of Jerusalem (INN, 07/03/11).
Is Jerusalem the Capital of an Islamic Caliphate? Ezekiel's Vision of Melech HaMashiach in the Temple: Ezekiel 44:1-3 "As for the prince (Nasi), being a prince (Nasi) he shall sit therein to eat bread (sacrificial portions) before the LORD;.." This NASI is "the Cohen Gadol (Rashi). Metzudas David states that this NASI is Melech HaMashiach. See also Ch. 46 for more on the Prince, namely the Messianic King.
And the children of Heth answered Abraham, saying unto him: 'Hear us, my lord (ADONI): thou art a mighty prince (NASI ELOHIM - prince of God, judge) among us;..' (Genesis 23:5).
"Nasi" comes from the root of "nasa" which means "lifted up."
The title of “nasi” could for example be given to the highest-ranking member: the prince or the president of the Sanhedrin. The title was also given to the political ruler of Judah (Lev. 4:22). Ezra 1:7 "...Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah (HaNasi l’Jehudah). ”...whom he (Cyrus) had made governor;.." (5:14-16).
PM: No One Above Law:
Commenting on the arrest of Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Sunday, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu reiterated comments he made last week after the arrest of Rabbi Dov Lior. “Israel is a state of laws, and no one is above the law. I demand that all citizens observe the law.” (INN, Jul/03/11).
Rabbi Shalom Gold: Torah Law is Above Any Other Law:
Rabbi Shalom Gold of the Union of Rabbis for the Jewish People spoke on Monday during
the support rally
for Rabbis Dov Lior and Yaakov Yosef, who had been arrested and questioned over their “haskama” (approbation) for the
Rabbi Shalom Gold added that at a time when the whole world is against Israel, the country must send a message of unity from within.“Anything that diminishes that unity is a terrible weakness of the Jewish people,” said Rabbi Gold. “Our responsibility, therefore, is to
that we will add Ahavat Yisrael (love of Israel), Ahavat Eretz Yisrael (love for the land of Israel), and Ahavat Torat Yisrael (love for Israel’s Torah)”
Unity From Within: Joshua was commander...at the Israelites’ first battle after exiting Egypt, against the Amalekites in Rephidim (Exodus 17:8-16), in which they were victorious. In the words of Rabbi Eliyahu Kitov: "The word “rephidim” can be seen as an acronym for “rafu yedeihem” – “their hands became weakened,” i.e., they stopped occupying themselves with the Torah. And Amalek came… (Ex. 17:8) … (and he tailed after you (striking) all the weak who fell behind (Deut. 25:18)."
"You shall remember what Amalek did to you on the way, when you went out of Egypt, how he happened upon on the way and cut off all the stragglers at your rear, when you were faint and weary, AND HE DID NOT FEAR GOD" (Deut. 25:17-18).
One option the Torah offers for
”wiping out the memory of
is to teach them the Torah and the fear of God.
Let There Be No "Doubt.
"Because they said, 'Is the LORD among us, or not?' Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim (Ex. 17:7-8). Amalek is the essence of doubt, of irrational challenge to truth. The Hebrew word Amalek has a numerical value of 240 the same as the word safek, "doubt".
Because the people of Israel had succumbed to the Amalek within their own souls, they became vulnerable to attack by Amalek the nation (The Chassidic Masters).
”The Lord said to Moses, I will surely obliterate the remembrance of Amalek from beneath the heavens (Ex. 17:16,14). And it is written “his end shall come to destruction” (Num. 24:20).
When Israel forgot God and His Torah, He delivered them into the hands of their enemies and exiled them (
1 Samuel Ch. 12
). All 'doubt' 'if God is among us or not' will be eliminated when Israel repents; and God again redeems Israel from the wicked nations, as He always has done in the past.
Ezekiel 46: 16-18 "Thus saith the Lord GOD: If the prince (Nasi, the political leader of Judah) give a gift unto any of his sons, it is his inheritance, it shall belong to his sons; it is their possession by inheritance. But if he give of his inheritance a gift to one of his servants, it shall be his to the year of liberty; then it shall return to the prince; but as for his inheritance, it shall be for his sons.
Moreover the prince shall not take of the people's inheritance, to thrust them wrongfully out of their possession; he shall give inheritance to his sons out of his own possession; that My people be not scattered every man from his possession.'
How much worse if he gives it to their enemies.
Numbers 18:20 ”
The Lord said to Aaron, You shall not inherit in their land, and you shall have no portion among them. I am your inheritance and portion among the children of Israel.”
Netanyahu: Anti-Missile System Must Be Deployed along Border of Future Palestinian State
:Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with three key Democratic congressmen on Wednesday, Reps. Gary Ackerman and Nita Lowey of New York, and Henry Waxman of California. According to a government official, Netanyahu spoke of two critical security aspects of any agreement with the Palestinians.
The first is a long-term Israeli military presence on the Jordan River to combat the smuggling of arms and terrorists into the West Bank from Jordan.
The second is the deployment of Iron Dome anti-missile batteries along the border of a future Palestinian state to prevent missile attacks from the West Bank on Israeli cities (JPost).
PA: Salaries Unpaid, Fayyad Blames Donors:
Fayyad said the PA has reduced its dependency on foreign aid to under one billion dollars per year. The PA formerly had a goal, expressed by Fayyad, of being self-sufficient by 2013. However, the PA remains

Peace at Last: Palestine in 2013 by Steven Plaut:
"It was in the year 2013. The Israelis at long last gave up their attempts to resist the pressures of the world.
Their newly elected national unity government approved the plan.
The Palestinians, led by a coalition of the PLO and the Hamas, had already earlier announced the creation of a Palestinian state.
Israel’s Left had been holding weekly protests in support of Palestinian statehood.
When the UN had officially and unanimously called for such a state, even the United States of Barack Obama voted in favor.
The national unity government of Israel announced that Israel was willing to accept the unanimous UN proposal for peace,
supported by every single country in the world. Israel would return to its pre-1967 borders,
remove all Jewish settlements from the territories of the new state of Palestine, recognize Palestine, and grant Palestine all of East Jerusalem,..
The settlers were marched out of the lands of Palestine at bayonet point,
with crowds of jeering Israeli leftists pelting them with garbage
as they moved into their temporary transit camps inside Green-Line Israel...” (Front Page Magazine, May 4, 2011).
Ness, the Hebrew word for miracle means "elevation."
"The purpose of a miracle is to elevate those who experience it to a higher consciousness, to a recognition of the Divine reality which underlies the natural reality we encounter in our everyday lives" (The Chassidic Masters).
A glimpse of the Mashiach: Isaiah 11:12 "And He will set up an ensign (banner, Hebrew: NIS, can also mean "miracle " See Exodus 17:15 "The Lord is my miracle " ADONAI NISSI) for the nations, and will assemble the dispersed of Israel (Lost Tribes), and gather together the scattered of Judah (the Jews) from the four corners of the earth. " Isaiah 11:10 "And it shall come to pass in that day, that the root of Jesse, that standeth for an ensign (banner/miracle) of the peoples, UNTO HIM SHALL THE NATIONS SEEK; and his resting-place shall be glorious. " Genesis 49:10 "The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, as long as men come to Shiloh; AND UNTO HIM SHALL THE OBEDIENCE OF THE PEOPLES BE. "Psalm 60:6-7 Thou hast given a banner to them that fear Thee, THAT IT MAY BE DISPLAYED BECAUSE OF THE TRUTH. Selah. That Thy beloved (Israel & Judah) be delivered,.. "
"Thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations, and set up Mine ensign to the peoples, and they shall bring thy sons in their bosom, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders " (Isaiah 49:22). Isaiah 18:7 Having been punished by God, in the War of Gog and Magog, the peoples of the world will bring Him an offering; the offering will be the Jewish people (Isaiah 66:20). "All ye inhabitants of the world, and ye dwellers on the earth, when an ensign is lifted up on the mountains (nations), see ye; and when the horn (the Trumpet of the Torah of Moshe, Numbers 10:9) is blown, hear ye" (Isaiah 18:3, 27:12-13).
Ezekiel 37:25 ”...and David My servant shall be their prince (NASI) for ever” (34:24). Jeremiah 33:15-22 "For thus saith the LORD: There shall not be cut off unto David a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel; neither shall there be cut off unto the priests the Levites a man before Me to offer burnt-offerings, and to burn meal-offerings, and to do sacrifice continually."
Zechariah 6:12-13 "...Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying: Behold, a man whose name is the Shoot, and who shall shoot up out of his place, and build the temple of the LORD; even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and there shall be a priest before his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both." See also Isaiah 11:1-5.
"...for out of Zion shall the Torah come forth, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem" (Isaiah 2:3, Micah 4:2, Zech. 8:.20-23).
The Christian mistranslation of Zechariah 6:12-13 NKJV: "...Thus says the Lord of hosts, saying: "Behold, the Man whose name is the BRANCH! From His place He shall branch out, And He shall build the temple of the Lord;
Yes, He shall build the temple of the Lord. He shall bear the glory, And shall sit and rule on His throne; So He shall be a priest on His throne, And the counsel of peace shall be between them both."
According to the NT, Christians are living stones in a spiritual temple, with Jesus as cornerstone. In Rev. 21:22, John says: “But I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb."
Christian bibletranslators are committed to paint Jesus into the socalled 'Old Testament', so that it may seem like Jesus is spoken of in the Jewish scriptures. The Jews, of course, cannot see this because the New Testament says that they are 'blind to the truth.'
2 Corinthians 3:13-14 "But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ." Romans 11:7-8 "What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect (the Christians) have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
Just as it is written: "God has given them a spirit of stupor, Eyes that they should not see And ears that they should not hear, To this very day."
The curtain of blindness is finally lifted when: "The LORD hath made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God" (Isaiah 52:10). "And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering that is cast over all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations" (Isaiah 25:7).
depict God's overthrow of the cities and strongholds of the nations at the end of days. Targum explains that the "cover" and the "veil" that are cast over all the nations refer to their leader and ruler (Gog), who until his overthrow covered them protectively like a seemingly benevolent world dictator.
In Romans 11:25-27 the Apostle Paul re-arranges the Prophet Isaiah's words of 59:20-21 "And so all Israel will be saved,
as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins." This, of course, is not what the prophet predicts. See 'Covenant of Peace'
Ezekiel 17:22-24 "
So says the Lord God: And I Myself will take from the lofty top of the cedar, and I will place [it]; I will crop off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I Myself will plant it upon a high and lofty mountain. In the mountain of the height of Israel I will plant it, and it will bear boughs and bring forth fruit and become a sturdy cedar, and under it shall dwell all birds of every feather; in the shade of the branches thereof shall they dwell."
Rashi and Metzudas David explain this verse as a prophecy about Mashiach, who will be from the seed of David and will rule in Jerusalem. "All Israel will dwell securely under the protection of the new leader" (Radak).
"And all the trees of the field will recognize that I, the Lord, have lowered the high tree, have raised aloft the low tree; that I have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree blossom. I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will accomplish it.
Isaiah 53:2 "And he came up like a sapling before it, and like a root from dry ground, he had neither form nor comeliness; and we saw him that he had no appearance. Now shall we desire him?"
Hosea 14:6-8 "I will be like dew to Israel, they shall blossom like a rose, and it shall strike its roots like the Lebanon.
Its branches shall go forth, and its beauty shall be like the olive tree, and its fragrance like the Lebanon.
Those who dwelt in its shade shall return; they shall revive [like] corn and blossom like the vine; its fragrance shall be like the wine of Lebanon."
A young tree growing in a dry land, has a small chance to survive. This has been said many times about the Nation of Israel – throughout their long and bitter exile. The Jewish People, who so many times have been on the edge of destruction, will be lifted up in the messianic age (Rabbi Tovia Singer).
World domination by Islam?
Nebuchadnezzar also wanted to establish a new world religion. And all the peoples bowed down, including all the Judean exiles except for Chananya, Mishael and Azariah, who were cast into the fiery furnace (Daniel 3:1-6).
Jordan are the custodians of the Muslim and Christian holy places. Hamas reiterates goal of world domination by Islam - annihilation of Israel-establishment of Caliphate in Jerusalem (INN, 03/27/07).
PA Peace Plan: Iran to Share Rule over Temple Mount (INN, 05/21/09). Obama Plan: Temple Mount Under Arab-Muslim Sovereignty (INN, 08/23/09).
"Islam will conquer all the mountain-tops in the world" (Ahmadinejad) (INN, 09/11/09).
"I harbor the hope that just like Allah allowed me to witness the triumph of Egypt, He will allow me to witness the conquest of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and will enable me to preach in the Al-Aqsa Mosque" (The
'spiritual leader' of the Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt). Ezekiel 30:13
"Thus saith the Lord GOD: I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause the things of nought to cease from Noph; and there shall be no more a prince (NASI) out of the land of Egypt; and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt."
Rome also sought to establish a new religion:
Then Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said unto his ministers: 'Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?' They answered and said unto the king: 'True, O king.' He answered and said: 'Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods (Arameic: bar elahin).' (Also translated "and the form of the fourth one is like that of an angel") (Hebrew Bible, Dan. 3:24-25).
Christian Bible: 'Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?' They answered and said to the king, 'True, O king.' 'Look!' he answered, 'I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.' Christian missionaries say that the forth man being in the fire with the Jews is Jesus of Nazareth. It was Gavri'el, meaning "strong man of God".
When Nebuchadnezzar saw the angel Gabriel, he immediately recognized him and all his limbs quaked and trembled. He said, This is the angel I saw in
Sennacherib's war (Isaiah 37:36), and he appeared like a river of fire that burned up his entire camp" (Yalkut Shimoni). Nebuchadnezzar's recognition of the saving power of HaShem was a great SANCTIFICATION OF HIS NAME and he wrote a letter "unto all peoples, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth;.. " praising the supreme God.
We eagerly await the day; "when I shall be sanctified through thee, O Gog (NESSI ROSH, chief prince of Magog), before their eyes" (Ezekiel 38:15-23).
"And it shall be said in that day: 'Lo, this is our God, for whom we waited, that He might save us; this is the LORD, for whom we waited, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation' (Isaiah 25:6-9). See
Gog, the chief prince (NESSI ROSH) of Magog (Ezekiel 38:2-3, 39:1) shalt be mustered for service, in the latter years thou shalt come against the land that is brought back from the sword, that is gathered out of many peoples, against the mountains of Israel, which have been a continual waste; but it is brought forth out of the peoples, and they dwell safely all of them. And thou shalt ascend, thou shalt come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many peoples with thee.
Thus saith the Lord GOD: It shall come to pass in that day, that things shall come into thy mind, and thou shalt devise an evil device (an evil peace plan); and thou shalt say: I will go up against the land of unwalled villages; I will come upon them that are at quiet, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates; to take the spoil and to take the prey; to turn thy hand against the waste places that are now inhabited, and against the people that are gathered out of the nations, that have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the middle of the earth" (Ezekiel 38:8-12).
"The truly powerful do not need to hide behind walls" (R' Shraga Simmons).
Ezekiel 39:3-4,12 is depicting the miraculous overthrow of the invading hordes on the hills and mountains of Israel, "...and I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the peoples that are with thee; I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort and to the beasts of the field, to be devoured... And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying them, that they may cleanse the land. "
AUDIO: Parshat Chukat:
A7 Radio's "Torah Tidbits Audio" with Phil Chernofsky Maybe we'll work Para Aduma into this Lead Tidbit (or maybe not), but for starters let's take the opportunity of Shabbat Rosh Chodesh
to reflect on what the month is...
and what it could be.
The parshah of Chukat ("the decree of") opens with the law of
the red heifer
(Para Aduma) and the use of its ashes which purifies a person from the tumah (ritual impurity) engendered by contact with death.
The tenth Heifer will be prepared by
The clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean person... and he shall be clean at evening... [But] he that sprinkles the water of sprinkling... shall be unclean (19:19-21).
All who are involved in the preparation of the heifer from beginning to the end, become impure, but the heifer itself purifies the impure! But G-d says: I have made a chok, decreed a decree, and you may not transgress My decrees
The fact that the ashes of the heifer "purify the contaminated and contaminate the pure" carries an important lesson to us in our daily lives: If your fellow has been infected by impurity and corruption, do not hesitate to get involved and do everything within your power to rehabilitate him. If you are concerned that you may became tainted by your contact with him, remember that the Torah commands the kohen to purify his fellow Jew, even though his own level of purity will be diminished in the process
(The Lubavitcher Rebbe)
3 Tamuz: 17th Anniversary of Lubavitcher Rebbe's Passing:
It is the 17th anniversary of the passing of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson.
On Monday evening, the Fourth of July, most people in the United States will still be celebrating the nation's Independence Day with barbecues and fireworks. But there will be some converging on the Old Montefiore Cemetery in Cambria Heights, Queens, New York to mark a Jewish date that begins at sundown and will last until Tuesday night – Gimmel Tamuz, the third day of the Hebrew month of Tamuz (INN,
When a Jew marries a non-Jew or converts to Christianity he is regarded as "dead."
Prov. 9:13-18 "The woman Folly (Evangelizing the Jews)
is riotous; she is thoughtless, and knoweth nothing. And she sitteth at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city, To call to them that pass by, who go right on their ways:
'Whoso is thoughtless, let him turn in hither'; and as for him that lacketh understanding, she saith to him: 'Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.' But he knoweth not that the shades (REPHA-IM) are there; that her guests are in the depths of the nether-world." REPHA-IM; those who weakened (REEPOO) their hands from the Torah and refused to keep it.
Isaiah 26:19 "-awake and sing, ye that dwell in the dust--for Thy dew is as the dew of light, and the earth shall bring to life the shades (REPAH-IM)." The dew of Your Torah and Your commandments shall be to them dew of light (Rashi).
"And many of those who sleep in the dust...
of the earth shall awake…" (Dan. 12:2). This refers to the resurrection of the dead (Rashi) – as well, of course, to the tremendous spiritual awakening and the widespread return to the Torah that we witness in our time among Israelite souls that in some cases have been buried in exile (Ezek. Ch 37) and cultural alienation for centuries. This itself is the revival of the dead! (Rabbi Avraham Greenbaum). See Psalms 49:16, 16:7-11, 22:23-32.
Falling prey to heresy leads to double death; loss of This World and the World to Come (Midrash Mishlei). Prov. 7:24-27 "Now therefore, O ye children, hearken unto me, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thy heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. For she hath cast down many wounded; yea, a mighty host are all her slain. Her house is the way to the nether-world), going down to the chambers of death." See also Prov. 5:3-5, 2:16-22. See
And what It Could Be: 1 Kings 11:15 "And it was when David was in Edom that Joab, the commander of the army had gone up to bury the slain, since he had slain every male in Edom." Yonatan ben Uzziel translates it; "to strip the slain, to take their (priestly) clothing" - just as the Israelites are destined to bury the fallen hordes of Gog and Magog in time to come (Ezek. 39:13). "I shall sprinkle upon you pure waters (of the Torah)...and I shall purify you from all your idols" (Ezek. 36:24-25). See also: A Perfect Fit by Levi Chazen
CHUKAS takes its place in the series of parshas read during the bright summer months of Tammuz, time of Teshuvah, that teach us how to look at various different aspects of life in the correct perspective. BEHAALOSCHAH taught about the purity of vision in general. SHELACH LECHA taught about viewing the world -- and our own selves -- with the eyes of faith despite outward appearances. KORACH taught about how we look at others who may be better than ourselves. CHUKAS now comes to teach us how to look at our mortality, death, the end goal of life, in the right perspective -- for with the right perspective, we can transcend death (Rabbi Avraham Greenbaum). See also: Torah for the Nations
Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death for ever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the reproach of His people will He take away from off all the earth; for the LORD hath spoken it."
The Torah of Mashiach:
"You will receive a new teaching - ”And you shall draw waters with joy from the wellsprings of salvation (Isaiah 12:3, 41:17-23) - for He will expand their hearts through the salvation that will come to them and all the secrets of the Torah that were forgotten during the exile because of the troubles will be revealed to them" (Rashi).
Deut. 32:1-2 "Give ear, ye heavens, and I will speak; and let the earth hear the words of my mouth. My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew; as the small rain upon the tender grass, and as the showers upon the herb." Isaiah 26:19.
Hosea 6:3 "...and He shall come unto us as the rain (Like rain which comes to be life for the world, for then He
will come to teach life that will come to us), as the latter rain that watereth the earth.'
"The islands shall wait for his Torah (Isaiah 42:4)" - all the nations will listen to the Torah of Mashiach! (Rashi).
"Hearken to Me, My people, and My nation, bend your ears to Me, when Torah shall emanate from Me, and My judgment [shall be] for the light of the peoples, I will give [them] rest" (Isaiah 51:4).
"Melech HaMashiach will teach the nations to follow the ways of HaShem, and the messianic Justice will enlighten the eyes of the nations in their various disputes, and I will thereby bring calm and tranquility to each and every nation, for they will no longer make war against each other" (Metzudas David).
This transformation will be accomplished through the revelation of a new level of Torah at the time of the redemption, the Torah of Mashiach.
RABBI RICHMAN - THE TORAH OF TRANSFORMATION:
June, July, 2011, USA Speaking Engagement Tour: "For out of Zion shall go forth Torah and the
word of G-d from Jerusalem. " (Isaiah 2:3, Michah 4:1-3). "Therefore shall ye lay up these My words in your heart and in your soul;.." (Deut. 11:18), "...for the mouth speaks from that which fills the heart" (Luke 6:45, Matt. 12:34).
What is our connection to the Torah? What is a true Torah experience? The Torah is not about information. It is not about amassing more and more knowledge. Torah is about transformation. It is about becoming a different person. It is about the world becoming a different world (The Temple Institute).
