"Is this house, whereupon My name is called, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it, saith the LORD" (Jer. 7:11).
”He that oppresseth the poor blasphemeth his Maker; but he that is gracious unto the needy honoureth Him” (Proverbs 14:31, Ezek. Ch. 18). "Whoso mocketh the poor blasphemeth his Maker; and he that is glad at calamity shall not be unpunished" (Proverbs 17:5, Obadiah 1:10-15). To oppress the weak is an insult to their Maker. The way of God, the Torah; "She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy" (Proverbs 31:20). The "poor and the needy" refers to Israel.

92-Year-Old Arab Gloats Over 1929 Rape-Massacre, Wants Encore:
As the world is subjected to a hail of propaganda from Arabs regarding the 1948 “disaster” inflicted upon them by the creation of the state of Israel, Arab press watchdog MEMRI has released a video that places the Arab claims in perspective.
In the video, a 92-year-old Arab woman, originally from Hevron, glowingly recalls on Hamas-Gaza TV how the Arabs of Hevron, including her father, without provocation, massacred the peaceful Jewish neighbors they had lived beside for years in 1929 – almost 20 years before the 1948 War of Independence. Needless to say, there was no State of Israel then, no IDF, no "occupation" etc.

In an orgy of sadistic violence on August 24, 1929, 67 of Hevron's Jews were murdered. The Arabs murdered children in front of their parents, severed limbs, raped and burned people alive (INN, 05/17/11).

And Hezekiah prayed before the Lord, saying, O Lord of Hosts, God of Israel, Who dwells between the cherubim, You alone are the God of all the kingdoms of the earth. You made the heavens and the earth.  O Lord, incline Your ear and listen, O Lord, open Your eyes and see, and listen to all the words of Sennacherib, who sent to blaspheme the living God. Indeed, O Lord, the kings of Assyria have destroyed all the countries and their land... And now, O Lord our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that You are the Lord alone.

And Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, "So has the Lord God of Israel said, 'What you prayed to Me concerning Sennacherib, king of Assyria.

This is the word that the Lord has spoken about him: ... Whom have you reviled and blasphemed, and upon whom have you raised [your] voice? And you have lifted your eyes on high against the Holy One of Israel. Through your servants you have reviled the Lord, and you said, "With my many chariots I have ascended to the heights of mountains (the Temple Mount), to the end of the Lebanon (The Temple building, which Sennacherib evidently had visions of destroying), and I will cut down its tallest cedars, its choice cypresses, and I will come to its remotest height, to its farmland forest" (Isaiah 37:15-24).

Silence in the Face of Continued Temple Mount Destruction: As an Arab bulldozer continues to dig away at the current Temple Mount floor, evidence is mounting that actual walls from the Second Temple are being destroyed. The world is silent, while Prime Minister Olmert continues talks with the Palestinian Authority regarding future sovereignty over the holy area.

The actual digging, under the auspices of the Moslem Waqf [religious trust to which Israel has assigned responsibility for the Temple Mount - ed.], has been ongoing for several weeks.  Only over the past 8-10 days, however, has attention been paid to the dangers of the barely supervised works.  The Waqf claims that the purpose of the 400-meter-long, 1.5-meter deep trench is to replace electric cables in the area.

Discarding a Temple Wall, Piece by Piece: For the Jews, however, the trench represents more than just better lighting.  Under the current floor of the Temple Mount compound lie the remains of the Second Holy Temple, largely untouched since it was destroyed by the Romans nearly 1,950 years ago.

Islamic Connection to Jerusalem – Weak
: Former Israeli Ambassador to Egypt Moshe Sasson, an expert on Islamic affairs, summed up for Arutz-7 the exact nature of Islam's connection to Jerusalem:  "The Caliph Abd El-Malik, when he moved his center of power from Damascus to Jerusalem, sought to build up the importance of Jerusalem as an Islamic center, and built the mosques there.  The Al Aksa mosque was built 621 years after Mohammed's death. Jerusalem is not mentioned even once in the Koran (it is mentioned 667 times in the Bible), and the Al Aksa mosque is mentioned only once - and even that is not a reference to the mosque of today.  In verse 1 of chapter 17, the Koran states that Allah transported Mohammed from Mecca to Al-Aksa; but this cannot be referring to the mosque in Jerusalem, because when Mohammed was alive, there were no mosques there.  Rather, it refers to the 'end' (aktsa, in Arabic) of the sky." (INN, 09/07/07).

Photos: Unsupervised Islamic Digging on Temple Mount: The Islamic Wakf is digging large ditches on the Temple Mount without legally-required archaeological supervision aimed at protecting antiquities at Judaism’s holiest site... Past excavations carried out by the Wakf resulted in tons of priceless archaeological artifacts being mixed with garbage and dumped in the Kidron Valley. Some of that dumped earth was transported to the Tzurim Valley, below Hebrew University, where Zweig organized a group of archaeological students and volunteers who are still sifting through it after finding antiquities (Exclusive: Dumped Temple Mount Rubble Yields Jewish Artifacts) from the First and Second Temple periods (INN, 07/11/07).

Policeman Assaulted Trying to Stop Illegal Temple Mount Dig: A policeman trying to stop an Arab tractor engaged in illegal Temple Mount excavations was assaulted - and the police chief who arrived on the scene arrested no one. Officials of the Moslem Waqf (religious body) on the Temple Mount are digging there illegally, likely destroying precious artifacts from as early as the First Temple period.  So say eyewitnesses and representatives of the Committee for the Prevention of the Destruction of Temple Mount Antiquities (INN, 08/29/07).

Majadle Justifies Destruction of Temple Remains: The Jewish State's first Arab minister, Raleb Majadle, declared Wednesday that as far as Jerusalem's Temple Mount is concerned, Israeli sovereignty is nonexistent and Islam rules. The minister spoke in his official capacity as Minister of Science, Culture and Sport, from the Knesset podium, in response to a parliamentary question by MK Aryeh Eldad (NU/NRP).

MK Eldad's question referred to the unsupervised digging carried out by the Muslim authorities (Remnants of the Second Temple Being Destroyed by Islamic Wakf) on the Temple Mount during the summer, by means of heavy machinery. "I received a series of photographs of digs on the Temple Mount near the Dome of the Rock," the parliamentary question read. "The police are present on the scene but there is no supervision by the Department of Antiquities regarding finds taken out of the digs, and there is a serious concern that they could be destroyed by the Wakf. What will be done in the short term to stop the destruction of the remains of the Temple?" (INN, 11/14/07).

Suit Rejected; Destruction of Temple-Era Finds to Continue: The High Court ruled against the Israel Law Center this week in a petition aimed at stopping the destruction of Jewish artifacts  (Waqf Bulldozers on Temple Mount May Be Destroying Jewish History) dating back to the Temple era  (Finds on Temple Mount from First Temple). The Israel Law Center (Shurat HaDin) had filed suit against the Wakf on behalf of 150 Israeli citizens. Charges were filed over the Wakf's use of bulldozers to carry out unauthorized construction in the area, despite archaeologists' warnings (Dr. Mazar: PM's Office Complicit in Temple Mount Destruction) that the machinery was demolishing ancient Jewish artifacts.

Attorneys from the Israel Law Center accused the Wakf of deliberately destroying Jewish artifacts in order to eradicate evidence of the Jewish claim to the Temple Mount. By neglecting to take action to stop the demolition of ancient historical finds, the Israel government has been "abandoning the millenniums-long Jewish claim over the Temple Mount and allowing Islamic extremists to re-write Jerusalem's history," they said (INN,
11/05/10 ).

Huge Jordanian Generators Sighted on Temple Mount: It is not clear to what use the generators will be put. The Wakf has in the past conducted unauthorized digging and construction activity on the Mount, apparently in order to obliterate any archaeological  vestiges of Jewish presence there (INN, 01/25/11).

We must act swiftly and decisively, for even a short delay is certain to have tragic consequences.

The Temple Institute : The frantic attempts of the Muslim Wakf and the Palestinian Authority to obliterate all remnants of the Holy Temple, while at the same time disseminating the colossal lie that the Holy Temple never existed, belie their own suppressed awareness that they are occupiers of a house not theirs, and that time and history, those marvelous tools in the hand of the One God, are working day by day to overturn their conspiratorial intrigues...

If they want to obliterate any archaeological vestiges of Jewish presence there, they will have to obliberate the Koran's Al-Isra; Surah 17 as well.

VIDEO: Soccer and Foul Language on the Temple Mount: A new video which was recently posted to YouTube depicts Arabs playing soccer on the Temple Mount, the Jewish people's holiest site as it is the place upon which stood the First and Second Holy Temples. The First Holy Temple was built by King Solomon as recounted in the Book of Kings and was destroyed in 586 B.C.E. by the Babylonian armies. The Second Holy Temple was built less than a hundred years later and stood until the Roman Legion destroyed it in 70 C.E.

The video goes on to show Arabs cursing the people who are filming them as they gather in the area. The individuals who uploaded the video clip to YouTube have issued an urgent call to the thousands of Jews who visit the Western Wall to go up to the Temple Mount and stop those Arabs who defile the place(INN, 01/11/11).

MKs to Discuss Anti-Jewish Racism on the Temple Mount: “There is basic, racist discrimination on the Temple Mount. Jews are discriminated against on the Temple Mount, period. That's the situation.” So says Michael Fuah of the Likud's Jewish Leadership faction, which recently compiled its own report on discrimination on the Temple Mount after a State Comptroller's report was censored . The Temple Mount discrimination “deals a blow to the values on which the state of Israel was founded, as a Jewish, democratic state,” Fuah told Arutz Sheva 's Hebrew-language news service. The situation has worsened in recent months, he added.

Fuah described the discrimination: “Everyone who has attempted to ascend the Temple Mount knows the reality, in which everyone with a 'Jewish look,' a beard and kippah, experiences discrimination. He is pulled aside for extra checks while everyone else passes by unimpeded.” In addition, Jews are
prohibited to pray at the site. (The ongoing discrimination against Jews' freedom of worship).

“This discrimination is taking place at the place that is holiest to the Jewish people,” he noted. In some cases, he said, individual Jews have been forbidden to ascend to the Temple Mount, which according to Judaism is the world's most holy place (INN,
03/27/11 ).

Psalm 74:6-10 "And now, all her ornaments together are smashed by hammer and hatchet. They set Your Sanctuary on fire; they desecrated the Abode of Your Name to the ground. Their rulers thought together in their hearts; they burned all the meeting places of God in the land. ...  How long, O God, will the adversary disgrace, will the enemy blaspheme Your Name forever!"

The psalmist mourns and weeps over all the synagogues and study halls that have been burned: the Philistines destroyed the Tabernacle of Shiloh; Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the first Temple. The Romans destroyed the Second Temple. And the The Muslim Wakf and the Palestinian Authority  is destroying the ancient ruins, the 4000 year old connection between the Jewish nation and the holy Mount Moriah.

EXCLUSIVE: Dumped Temple Mount Rubble Yields Jewish Artifacts: The unsupervised digging caused irreparable damage to the important site, as well as to UNTOLD PRICELESS ARTIFACTS contained in rubble REMOVED during the construction AND DUMPED clandestinely in the Kidron Valley (INN, 04/14/05 ).

ARCHAEOLOGISTS: Waqf dig endangering relics that may have been part of Temple: The leading Muslim cleric in Jerusalem, Mufti Mohammed Hussein, rejected the committee's charges. "We don't harm the antiquities, we are the ones who are taking care of the antiquities, unlike others who destroy them," he said. Issues relating to the Temple Mount are handled entirely by the Prime Minister's Bureau and the attorney general, who set policy on the matter, usually based on police recommendations (Haaretz, 31.08.07).

Millennia of Artifacts - Down the Drain: Dr. Eilat Mazar, an archaeologist and a leading member of the Committee for the Prevention of the Destruction of Temple Mount Antiquities, spoke with Arutz-7's Hebrew newsmagazine about the desecration.  "It is an untenable situation," she said.  "Underneath the Temple Mount is a closed area, one that has barely been disturbed since the Destruction of the Second Temple.  Anyone can realize that remnants of both the First and Second Temples are there, and can guess what damage is being done by the tractor.  The most precious findings are just rolling around there and are available to be found - and instead they have a tractor there!  If I would try to work with a tractor at one of my digs, the Antiquities Authority would stop me immediately!  With a tractor, it's impossible to make any type of careful examination of the earth and pieces being dug up." (Policeman Assaulted Trying to Stop Illegal Temple Mount Dig, INN, 08/29/07).

Temple Mount discovery leads to dispute in Jerusalem: While doing renovation at the famed Temple Mount, Israeli archaeologists discovered a sealed layer containing fragments of ceramic table vessels and animal bones. The items have been dated by Israeli scientists to the First Temple in the eighth century B.C. - roughly during the reign of the biblical King Hezekiah. The discovery includes fragments of bowl rims and bases, the base of a small jug used for ladling oil, the handle of a small jug and the rim of a storage jar. All are typical of Israelite vessels from that period, scientists say.

Sheikh Ikrema Sabri, the former mufti of Jerusalem, recently told the Jerusalem Post that the temples of Solomon and Herod never existed.
"There was never a Jewish temple on al-Aqsa, and there is no proof that there was ever a temple," Sabri said.

"Because Allah is fair, he would not agree to make al-Aqsa if there were a temple there for others beforehand."

Sabri also said the Western Wall, revered by Jews as the last remnant of a huge retaining barrier built by King Herod to support the vast plaza where the temple stood, has no historical significance for Jews.
"The wall is not part of the Jewish temple. It is just the western wall of the mosque," he said. "There is not a single stone with any relation at all to the history of the Hebrews." (San Francisco Chronicle, November 18, 2007).

GAZA CITY: The Great Mosque (Jamaa al-Akbar) makes up for its lacklustre appearance with an interesting history: it's a converted Crusader church built on the site of a Hellenic temple - with pillars from a 3rd-century Jewish synagogue (Wikitravel).

By demolishing the glorious Temple, where God rested His Presence, the enemies believed that by destroying the Sancturay they destroyed the future of Judaism. But they failed to realize that God’s Torah is not limited to a Temple or to a land, but guides Jewish life everywhere. As it is written (Isaiah 59:20-21): "And a redeemer shall come to Zion, and to those who repent of transgression in Jacob, says the Lord. As for Me, this is My covenant with them," says the Lord. "My spirit, which is upon you and My words that I have placed in your mouth, shall not move from your mouth or from the mouth of your seed and from the mouth of your seed's seed," said the Lord, "from now and to eternity." Even in their exile, My Torah will not be forgotten from them.

Psalm 74:18-23 "Remember this, how the enemy reviled the Lord, and the vile nation blasphemed Your Name. Do not give the soul of Your turtledove (Israel) to the wild beast; do not forget the life of Your poor forever. Look to the covenant, for the dark places of the earth are filled with dens of violence. Do not turn back the oppressed in disgrace; [then] the poor and needy will praise Your Name.  Arise, O God, champion Your cause; remember Your insults from the perverse all day long. Forget not the voice of Your adversaries; the tumult of Your opponents ascends always..."

Ex-Terrorist's Message to Israel: Stop Being Afraid of Goliath: Watch this week's edition of Tuesday Night Live in Jerusalem. On this show, the fourth segment of TNL Across America filmed in Florida, Ari and Jeremy meet Walid Shoeabat. Shoeabat, used to be a radicalized Muslim who, as he says was "willing to die for the cause of Jihad. I was involved in terror activity, was a member of the PLO, and was imprisoned in Jerusalem for three weeks where I was recruited to plant a bomb in Bethlehem in which thank God no one was injured."

I was involved in terror activity, was a member of the PLO, and was imprisoned in Jerusalem for three weeks where I was recruited to plant a bomb in Bethlehem in which thank God no one was injured."
Watch Sohoebat's appearance on TNL as he relates to Turkey as the potentially future main enemy of Israel and calls on Israel to stop "fearing from Goliath." (INN, 03/30/11 ).

Then the Philistine said: "I have disgraced the battalions of Israel, this day, (saying): "Give me a man and we will fight together." Saul and all Israel heard these words, and they were terrified and greatly afraid.

"The men of Israel were saying, "Have you seen this man who goes forth? He goes forth to disgrace Israel!.." "David spoke to the men standing with him, saying, "What will be done to the man who slays this Philistine and removes disgrace from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he disgraces the battalions of the Living God?"

"The Philistine walked, going closer and closer to David, peered and saw David, he derided him and cursed David by his gods."

David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, a spear and a javelin - but I come to you with the Name of Hashem, Master of Legions, the God of the battalions of Israel that you have ridiculed... (1 Samuel 17:10-11,25-26,41-43,45).

David's purpose was that "all this Assembly shall know that it is

not with the sword and the spear that God saves" (v 47).

"This day will the LORD deliver thee into my hand; and I will smite thee, and take thy head from off thee; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air,  and to the wild beasts of the earth; THAT ALL THE EARTH MAY KNOW THAT THERE IS A GOD IN ISRAEL;

and that all this assembly may know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD'S, and He will give you into our hand' (So, how dare you oppose and not respect His people and their heritage?).

"And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone (knowledge of God) and slung it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead; and the stone (knowledge of God) sank into his forehead, and he fell upon his face to the earth" (1 Sam. 17:46-47,49).

Daniel 2:35 "...and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth." Isaiah 11:9 "They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea." See also Habakkuk 2:11-14.

Gaza Fires Rocket at Ashkelon: After two days of relative quiet on the Gaza front, Gaza terrorists fired a short range missile into Israel Thursday. It exploded south of Ashkelon, but caused no casualties or damage.  On Tuesday, a rocket exploded in the Shaar HaNegev area. No one was hurt. IAF jets attacked a terrorist cell in Gaza Wednesday, in response to the rocket fire Tuesday. An Islamic Jihad terrorist was killed. Arab sources said the man was killed east of Rafiah (INN, 03/31/11).

Militants Put Gazans in Danger, Group Says: The Gaza-based Palestinian Center for Human Rights this week condemned the building and storage of anti-Israel rockets in densely populated areas, a practice that has led to injuries and deaths of civilians. The group said that locally produced rockets had fallen on homes in Gaza or exploded in factories where they were made or stored. It warned that "members of the Palestinian resistance continue to store explosives...in locations close to populated areas....This poses a major threat to the lives of the Palestinian civilians"  (New York Times, March 30, 2011) .

”Thou shalt not murder” is the supreme moral injunction with which humankind was trumpeted on Mount Sinai. The Holocaust revealed the total willingness of human beings to silently accept the dictates of a ghastly ideology and to commit mass murder without a second thought.

Zephaniah 2:4-11 "For Gaza shall be forsaken,.. Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea-coast, the nation of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you, O Canaan, the land of the Philistines; I will even destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant. And the sea-coast shall be pastures, even meadows for shepherds, and folds for flocks. And it shall be a portion for the remnant of the house of Judah, whereon they shall feed; in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening; for the LORD their God will remember them, and turn their captivity.

I have heard the taunt of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, wherewith they have taunted My people, and spoken boastfully concerning their border. Therefore as I live, saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even the breeding-place of nettles, and saltpits, and a desolation, for ever; the residue of My people shall spoil them, and the remnant of My nation shall inherit them.

This shall they have for their pride, because they have taunted and spoken boastfully against the people of the LORD of hosts. The LORD will be terrible unto them; for He will famish all the gods of the earth; then shall all the isles of the nations worship Him, every one from its place."

In the case of the Philistines, the verse states that the redemption from them will take place "in the EVENING."  Similarly, the redemption from the hordes of Gog and Magog is described as taking place "towards the EVENING" (Zechariah 14:7). These verses explain that the nations are punished for their arrogant taunting of Israel and because "they have magnified themselves against their border."

Metzudas David explains the latter phrase to mean that "they took from the land of Israel to expand and add to their own boundaries". This is exactly what the Arab nations sought to do in 1948, 1967 and 1973 etc. and are still trying to do today - not without the tacit support of the British, who had already subtracted vast chunks of territories from the lands they originally promised in 1917 as the Jewish national homeland and handed them to their Arab protégées.

UN chief: Israel's occupation is 'morally, politically unsustainable' United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called on Israel Wednesday to halt settlement building in the West Bank and put a stop to all forms of violence and incitement, the UN News Center reported. “Time is of the essence in realizing the two-State solution, " Ban said, "the occupation that started in 1967 is morally and politically unsustainable, and must end.

The Palestinians have a legitimate right to the establishment of an independent and viable State of their own. “The target dates for reaching an Israeli-Palestinian agreement on permanent status issues and completing the Palestinian Authority’s two-year State-building program are fast approaching..." (Haaretz, 30.03.11).

The Palestinians move forward with their plan to unilaterally declare themselves an independent state, on borders the PA has insisted on setting for itself,  expecting to receive support from the UN, completely apart from any negotiation with Israel and without making any concessions or promises of peace.

Colombia Won't Recognize PA as a Country: Colombia has not joined the parade of Latin American nations that have recognized the Palestinian Authority as a sovereign country over the past year. President Juan Manuel Santos Calderon informed the World Jewish Congress on Wednesday that as a “matter of principle,” his government would not recognize any unilateral declaration of statehood by the PA.

The so-called “1967 borders” refer to the 1948 Armistice Lines. Those lines were abolished during the 1967 Six Day War that was won by Israel after being attacked by surrounding Arab nations.
The area currently occupied by the Palestinian Authority was held under the authority of the Jordanian government - and not by a Palestinian entity - before being restored to the State of Israel in the 1967 Six Day War (INN, 03/31/11).

Psalm 79 is a Prayer that Israel be restored to its land, so that God’s honor will be restored in the eyes of a doubting world. A psalm by Asaph. O God, nations have entered Your inheritance, they defiled Your Holy Sanctuary; they turned Jerusalem into heaps of rubble. They have rendered the corpses of Your servants as food for the birds of heaven, the flesh of Your pious ones for the beasts of the earth...

We became the object of disgrace to our neighbors, ridicule and scorn to those around us. .. Pour Your wrath upon the nations that do not know You, upon the kingdoms that do not call Your Name, for they devoured Jacob and desolated His abode.  Repay our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom, for the disgrace with which they reviled You, O Lord. And we, Your people, the flock of Your pasture, will thank You forever; for all generations we will recount Your praise.
