Settlements Not An Obstacle To Peace.
Leviticus 25:23 "And the land shall not be sold in perpetuity; for the land is Mine; for ye are strangers and settlers with Me." I Chronicles 29:15 "For we are strangers before You, and inhabitants like all our forefathers;.." Even Abraham was fully aware that he was but a "visitor and a resident" (Gen. 23:4) on this earth.

Psalm 24:1 "The land (Israel) and the fullness thereof are the Lord's; the world (the other lands) and those who dwell therein." Psalm 115:16-18 "The heavens are heavens of the Lord, but the earth He gave to the children of men (ADAM). Neither will the dead (the wicked) praise God, nor all those who descend to the grave. But we shall bless God from now until everlasting, Hallelujah!"

Psalm 133:1-3 "A song of ascents of David. Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brothers also to dwell together! As the good oil (with which Aaron the priest was anointed)  on the head runs down upon the beard, the beard of Aaron, which runs down on the mouth of his garments. As the dew of Hermon which runs down on the mountains of Zion, for there the Lord commanded the blessing, life forever." The idyllic unity among brothers brings God’s blessings. The Psalmist likens the flow of heavenly blessing to the precious oil with which High Priests and kings were anointed.

Psalm 21:5 "He (David) asked You for life; You gave it to him, length of days forever and ever." As David fled outside the Holy Land from before Saul, he prayed: Psalm 116:8-9 "For You have rescued my soul from death, my eye from tears, and my foot from stumbling. I shall walk before the Lord in the lands of the living (that is Israel)." For God promised David that He would "establish the throne of his kingdom (Israel) forever" (II Samuel 7:13).

Deut. 6:1-2 "This is the commandment, the statutes, and the ordinances that the Lord, your God, commanded to teach you, to perform in the land into which you are about to pass, to possess it. In order that you fear the Lord, your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments that I command you, you, your son, and your son's son, all the days of your life, and in order that your days may be lengthened."

Proverbs 3:1-2 "My son, forget not My instruction, and may your heart keep My commandments; for they shall add length of days and years of life and peace to you." The Torah and the commandments. Genesis 3:22 "Now the Lord God said, "Behold man has become like one of us, having the ability of knowing good and evil, and now, lest he stretch forth his hand and take also from the Tree of Life (The Torah) and eat and live forever." See Proverbs 3:13-18.

"Both President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton have stated their racist expectation that Israel halt all construction in Judea, Samaria and the hills surrounding Jerusalem. Israeli PM Netanyahu rejected this demand and stated that Israel will not build new settlements, but will expand existing settlements to accomodate for natural growth. We overcame Pharaoh’s decrees. We overcame the Nuremburg Laws-With the help of God, blessed be He, we shall prevail in the land of Israel!" (Eliezer Braun, Read more: Shuva (RETURN) Israel).

Psalm 125:2 "As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about His people, from this time forth and for ever." Just as the mountains around the Holy City give us the physical understanding of protection, so too, in the realm of the spiritual, Hashem’s presence can be seen around his children. It is this protection that has allowed us to show our faithfulness despite all adversity (Rabbi Yitzchok Rubin).

Arab Leaders Tell US: You Have One Month to Pressure Israel:
The Arab League decided Friday to give the United States an ultimatum: If U.S. leaders do not pressure Israel into accepting Arab demands within a month, the Palestinian Authority will give up on the next round of negotiations. The PA is demanding that Israel forbid Jews to build in Judea and Samaria, an area that is home to an estimated 350,000 Israelis.

"We are giving the United States an opportunity to convince Israel to stop settlements. We are giving them a month which will be a period of political interaction between the United States and Israel," a PA spokesman told reporters.
Abbas told the Arab League that he is considering the unilateral creation of a PA state in Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem, on all land outside of the 1949 armistice line. Abbas said he would seek U.S. approval for the move if negotiations with Israel come to a halt.

Abbas has categorically rejected the possibility of any Jewish presence in a future PA state, and says that any construction for Jews is an obstacle to peace - even when no undeveloped land is used. Abbas' about-face on the issue has led some to argue that the PA chairman is
deliberately undermining talks in order to demand the unilateral establishment of a PA Arab state (INN, 10/10/10).

The Palestine Mandate (July 24, 1922):   Article 4: An appropriate Jewish agency shall be recognised as a public body for the purpose of advising and cooperating with the Administration of Palestine in such economic, social and other matters as may affect the establishment of the Jewish national home and the interests of the Jewish population in Palestine, and, subject always to the control of the Administration to assist and take part in the development of the country.

The Zionist organization, so long as its organization and constitution are in the opinion of the Mandatory appropriate, shall be recognised as such agency. It shall take steps in consultation with His Britannic Majesty's Government to secure the cooperation of all Jews who are willing to assist in the establishment of the Jewish national home.

Article 5: The Mandatory shall be responsible for seeing that no Palestine territory shall be ceded or leased to, or in any way placed under the control of the Government of any foreign Power.

Article 6: The Administration of Palestine, while ensuring that the rights and position of other sections of the population are not prejudiced, shall facilitate Jewish immigration under suitable conditions and shall encourage, in cooperation with the Jewish agency referred to in Article 4, close settlement by Jews on the land, including State lands and waste lands not required for public purposes.

PA: Freeze settlements or we'll go to UN: Speaking during a visit to Morocco, Erekat said that "if the United States won't force Israel to halt settlement construction this month, our next step will be to ask the Americans to recognize a Palestinian state within the 1967 border."

PM asks ministers to back 90-day settlement freeze

Abbas Wants UN Security Council to Discuss Israeli Housing: US President Barack Obama criticized Israel this week for announcing another stage in the approval process of 1,300 housing units in the Jerusalem neighborhoods of Pisgat Ze’ev and Har Homa. “This kind of activity is never helpful when it comes to peace negotiations,” Obama said during a visit to Indonesia. “I'm concerned that we're not seeing each side making the extra effort involved to get a breakthrough.”

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said Wednesday that the U.S. was "deeply disappointed" by the Israeli step. "This announcement is counterproductive for efforts to resume negotiations between the parties," she told PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad during a video conference between the two.

Netanyahu: Palestinians distort history: Bibi goes on the attack: The Palestinians are spreading libelous propaganda against Israel and distort historical facts about the causes of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu charged Thursday. The Palestinian refugee problem "is a result of what happened in 1948," the PM told Likud activists at the party's Tel Aviv headquarters. "Had they refrained from attacking us, these people would not have become refugees," he said. Netanyahu also dismissed claims that Israel's settlements in the West Bank are the root cause of the conflict "They are trying to say that our presence in Judea and Samaria is the reason for the conflict, which isn't true," he said. "They took the results of the 1967 conflict – that is, the construction in Judea and Samaria – and turned them into the reason for the conflict."

Myths & Facts: Settlements By Mitchell G. Bard:

From 1949-67, when Jews were forbidden to live in Judea and Samaria, the Arabs refused to make peace with Israel.

From 1967-77, the Labor Party established only a few strategic settlements in the territories, yet the Arabs were unwilling to negotiate peace with Israel.

In 1977, months after a Likud government committed to greater settlement activity took power, Egyptian President Sadat went to Jerusalem and later signed a peace treaty with Israel. Incidentally, Israeli settlements existed in the Sinai and those were removed as part of the agreement with Egypt.

One year later, Israel froze settlement building for three months, hoping the gesture would entice other Arabs to join the Camp David peace process. But none would.

In 1994, Jordan signed a peace agreement with Israel and settlements were not an issue. If anything, the number of Jews living in the territories was growing.

Between June 1992 and June 1996, under Labor-led governments, the Jewish population in the territories grew by approximately 50 percent. This rapid growth did not prevent the Palestinians from signing the Oslo accords in September 1993 or the Oslo 2 agreement in September 1995.

In 2000, Prime Minister Ehud Barak offered to dismantle dozens of settlement, but the Palestinians still would not agree to end the conflict.

Abbas vows to walk in Arafat’s footsteps to Palestine : The Palestinian position remains unchanged – a Palestinian state free of settlements with Jerusalem as its capital and the right of refugees to return to their homeland. Abbas vows to walk in Arafat’s footsteps-until the Palestinians achieve an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, the refugees return to their homes and lands and all prisoners are released from Israeli jail.

“There will be no negotiations with settlements,” Abbas announced. “The Arab city of Jerusalem, including the holy sites, is an integral part of the 1967 occupied territories. Everybody knows that Jerusalem was occupied in 1967 and that any solution that does not include Jerusalem is not a solution.” (JPost, 11/12/2010).

The PLO arch-terrorist Yasser Arafat whose life's ambition was the destruction of the Jewish state...

What was the 1974 PLO "Phased Plan" for Israel's destruction?  Through the "armed struggle" (i.e., terrorism), to establish an "independent combatant national authority" over any territory that is "liberated" from Israeli rule. (Article 2).

To continue the struggle against Israel, using the territory of the national authority as a base of operations. (Article 4). To provoke an all-out war in which Israel's Arab neighbors destroy it entirely ("liberate all Palestinian territory"). (Article 8).

"...there is a big difference between terrorism and jihad, which is a right to armed struggle" (Libya's Gadhafi Declares Holy War Against Switzerland, 02/26/10, Spiegel). See "Armed Struggle."

Peres: Some land must be ceded: President Shimon Peres spoke at 38th annual memorial ceremony for Israel's first prime minister, David Ben Gurion. Ben Gurion was the first to support the two-state solution, but he believed that our immediate duty is to save the people and release them from dependency on foreigners, something which is impossible to do without ceding some parts of Israel (YnetNews,11.14.10).

Since 1967, Israel has repeatedly given...“land for peace.”So Israel uprooted 10,000 Jews from settlements in the Gaza Strip. And every time Israel gives up land for peace, its enemies that are determined to kill them just get closer.

Abbas to Arabs: We'd Support a War Against Israel: Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas told Arab leaders that the PA is ready to wage war on Israel if the rest of the Arab world does, according to the PA daily Al-Hayat al-Jadida as translated by Palestinian Media Watch. “If you want war, and if all of you will fight Israel, we are in favor. But the Palestinians will not fight alone because they don't have the ability to do it,” Abbas quoted himself as having said at the March Arab League Summit in Libya (INN, 07/08/10).

Abbas at Arafat memorial (YnetNews, 11/11/08): We'll continue to follow shahids' path: "The Palestinian leadership will continue to follow Yasser Arafat's path until a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital is established,"  "The path of the shahids - Arafat, George Habash (founder of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine) and (assassinated Hamas spiritual leader) Sheikh Ahmed Yassin - is the path that we cherish; it is aimed at upholding the Palestinians' nationalist and sovereign resolutions."

As a result of the Six Day War, Israel, in a war of self defense, gained
all of Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, Sinai, the Gaza Strip, and Judea and Samaria. In fact, prior to 1967, Jordan had occupied the West Bank and Egypt had occupied the Gaza Strip; their presence in those territories was the result of their illegal invasion in 1948, in defiance of the UN Security Council. Jordan's 1950 annexation of the West Bank was recognized only by Great Britain and Pakistan and rejected by the vast majority of the international community, including the Arab states.

International jurists generally draw a distinction between situations of "aggressive conquest" and territorial disputes that arise after a war of self-defense. Former US State Department Legal Advisor Stephen Schwebel, who later headed the International Court of Justice in the Hague, wrote in 1970 regarding Israel's case: Where the prior holder of territory had seized that territory unlawfully, the state which subsequently takes that territory in the lawful exercise of self-defense has, against that prior holder, better title. (Are the West Bank and Gaza "occupied territories" as Palestinian Arabs assert? ).

Clinton praises Netanyahu on settlement freeze: "This is a very promising development and a serious effort by Prime Minister Netanyahu," Clinton said, declining comment on the details of the plan but stressing that the United States was in close contact with Israeli and Palestinian officials. "We are going to continue to do everything we possibly can to get the parties to begin the kind of serious, end-game negotiations that are necessary" to end the conflict, she added (Ynet News,11.15.10).

US says timeline for Mideast peace deal may slip: The Obama administration hinted on Monday that next year's deadline for an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal could slip even if both sides quickly return to negotiations. The State Department said the goal of reaching an agreement in one year's time may no longer be realistic because of an deadlock over Israeli settlements. That deadline was set when the talks began in September but the negotiations quickly stalled on the settlement issue. (11.16.10, Ynet News).

US assures Israel that Iran is one year from making a nuclear bomb: The US government has assured Israel that Iran's process of converting nuclear material into a working weapon would take at least a year, according to reports. The New York Times cited White House officials saying they believed the assessment had minimised prospects of a pre-emptive Israeli strike against Iran's nuclear facilities within the next year (Telegraph, 20 Aug 2010).

The Nobel Peace Price winner, US President Barack H. Obama uses the Iranian threat against Israel.

White House links Iran nukes to Palestinian state: The Obama Administration did what Israelis have long feared and pleaded with the US to avoid when White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel linked the resolution of the Iran nuclear crisis to the creation of a Palestinian state. Ynet quoted Emanuel as insisting that the ability to confront Iran and reach a diplomatic solution over its defiant nuclear program was solely dependent on progress toward the birth of "Palestine."

Israel now faces a moment of truth - it can either acquiesce to international demands and in return have its most serious threats dealt with, or maintain the status quo and have those threats persist. (Israel Today, May 04, 2009).

Report: Obama leverages Iran to extract Israeli concessions: Obama appears to not see Iran's nuclear program as a threat to US security, and so feels free to use it as a bargaining chip to obtain concessions from Israel. (August 2, 2009, Israel Today).

Obama about to betray Israel, says former intel official: A former top US intelligence official warns that the Obama Administration is about to break America's long ties of friendship with Israel, and maybe even take steps toward the dissolution of the Jewish state. "I have every reason to believe, based on what I’ve seen at my level of [security] clearance especially over the last several years, that Israel will soon be completely on their own… or worse."

The Obama Administration is preparing to "provide more support to Arab countries [with] financial and military aid, undercutting Israel’s defense efforts all while pushing Israel to succumb to the pressure of unreasonable demands designed to end with their political annihilation as a nation," said the source. (Israel Today, March 19, 2009).

Thousands Protest Plans for Second Obama-Freeze: Thousands protested in Jerusalem Sunday against Prime Minister Binyamiun Netanyahu's agreement to continue the the freeze on construction of homes for Jewish people in Judea and Samaria. The plan is being peddled by US President Barack Obama, who has threatened to back a unilateral Palestinian Authority declaration of statehood if Israel does not do as he wishes.

Netanyahu: Second Freeze to be More Strict : The second Judea and Samaria (racist) building freeze pushed by the United States will be stricter than the first, in that it will include a ban on completing construction projects that are already underway. The U.S. has demanded a ban on construction for Jews east of the 1948 armistice line, including in Jerusalem, in order to bring the PA to the negotiating table. In an unprecedented move, PA leaders have demanded a freeze in order to begin talks, despite the fact that construction has been taking place only within the limits of existing Israeli towns, and not in PA-controlled territory. The freeze applies only to construction for Jews in Judea and Samaria. Meanwhile, construction by the PA for Arabs continues apace . (INN, 11/21/10).

With Barak in charge; who needs enemies?

Report: Barak, Abbas Spoke About Unilateral Withdrawal: Report: Abbas secretly met with Barak, who presented his proposal for a unilateral withdrawal from Judea and Samaria (INN, 10/16/2012). The goal of Barak and to that of the terrorists seems to be similar; to break the spirit and the morale of the Jewish people. Why would any Jew return from exile and why should the gentile/Christian Zionist support the communities in Judea and Samaria - when faced with another withdrawal?

Will the Moral Disintegration of the State of Israel Continue?

Audio: Illegal Arab Occupation and Unhindered Arab Building: If you are a Jewish youth and erect a hut it gets demolished. But if you are a Bedouin and build an illegal mansion it's a different story (INN).

Gulf State Arabs Buy Up Galilee Lands: Wealthy foreign Arabs from the Persian Gulf have bought up hundreds of dunams of Galilee land (INN).

Wasn't it in the Galilee and the Negev desert the Jews were supposed to stay - when they all withdrew from Judea and Samaria? Negev + Galilee = Israel’s Future: "Real Zionism is to encourage all to move to the Negev and the Galilee," said Transportation Minister Meir Sheetrit,.. (Jewish Journal, 2006).

Now, Arabs are building and or squatting all over Galilee...

Sponsor a Piece of Israel! – Be a Partner in Saving the Galilee: “One who purchases 4 cubits (amot) in the Land of Israel is assured a portion in the World to Come” from Midrash Zuta on Megilat Ruth (4:5).

Thanks to Israel’s Extreme Leftist dominated Supreme Court the Israeli Land Authority can no longer develop a new community exclusively for Jews. The Jewish National Fund has to give over land to Arabs. Jews who win in court against Arab squatters in many cases can’t have the police enforce eviction orders!

Arabs can now buy homes in Jewish villages such as where I live in Poriya in the Lower Galilee just outside of Tiberias. All over the country in Lod, Ramle, Nazareth Elite, Acko, Yaffo, etc, Arabs are buying and Jews are leaving. The Negev is being taken over by blatant Bedouin land grabs and there are thousands upon thousands of illegal houses all over the Negev. Jewish Shepherds and farmers are being driven out of business by the Bedouin thieves. The Galilee in the north is now a large Arab majority. The stoning of cars, once only a problem of the so called ‘occupied’ West Bank and Gaza, is a common occurrence in Israel’s north (Yosef Ben Tzion (Joel Busner), Director, B’Ahavat Yisrael).

Expert: Jews May Lose Out to Arab Encroachment: If Jews don't watch out, they are liable to lose the Land of Israel, says Dr. Mordechai Keidar of Bar Ilan's Begin-Sadat Research Center (INN).

Surprise: Most of Israel's Pre 1967 Private Land Held by Arabs: Apartheid against whom? Most of the 1.5 million dunams of privately owned land in the Jewish state, within pre 1967 lines, are in Arab hands (INN).

Saudi Sheikh Tries to Buy Israeli Land Using Straw Men: Head of a local council in Northern Israel describes how a Saudi sheikh attempted to buy lands from him, calling it 'reclamation' (INN).

“The land shall not be sold forever for the land is Mine” (Lev. 25:23).

Also, if Jews choose to stay away and refuse to return from exile, of if gentile/Christian Zionists refuse to donate towards survival of Jewish settlements   they in fact contribute – to aid the terrorists and the current leadership in their effort to break the spirit and the morale of both the Jewish people and their supporters.

Sign Global Petition to Save Migron and Prevent Any Second Gush Katif from Occurring!

Op-Ed: There are No Prayers in Migron's Synagogue this Shabbat:
The wonderful village of Migro is laid waste. The desolate synagogue in Migron stands testimony to the instinct for self destruction of the Israeli left. The writer, Giulio Meotti, fears for the aftereffects of Migron.

Is there a next one? Givat Assaf? Amona? Then what?

The police made Migron “jüdenrein”. The tragic lesson of Gush Katif has proven to be correct. The settlers’ public has been so traumatized that in Migron it looked impotent and mute. Dozens of heroic families lost their homes and the state retreated from a strategic peak. The surprising thing is that it was all very easy. The Palestinian Arabs could not have done it better.

After Migron, some fear that everything else in Samaria risks going down in a slow process. The new building contradicts that, but it is obvious that the ethnic cleansing of “the settlers” is the only one that the world applauds.

To the Israeli psyche, the heartland of Judea and Samaria has an aura of crimson and the notion of removing all Jews from areas handed over to “Palestine”has become a legitimate plan even in some of the rightist camp.

Is Migron and Gush Katif the sign that we are witnessing the major cataclysm of Israel’s history? The loss of Judea and Samaria and a return to the borders of 1967, in which the Arabs can eliminate the state. They will utilize every inch of “liberated” soil as a springboard to the rest, phase by phase, until Israel is so tiny that the Arabs will be able to dismantle it altogether (INN, September 07, 2012).

'For Every Community that is Destroyed We'll Build Another': “Families with children and toddlers who have lived here for ten years were forced out of their homes,” she said. “The people of Migron have gone through nearly a six-year battle to stay here.”

“The people are obviously moving with a very bad feeling,” said Ovadia. “What is going on is unjustified. Some of the people have even purchased their plots of land [once it was known that these plots did have Arab owners, a fact unknown when the homes were built on barren land, ed.] and yet the Supreme Court refused to recognize that . We all hope that they’ll be able to return here and rebuild Migron.”

“We believe that the communities of Judea and Samaria are strong,” she said. “They’re developing and flourishing and we hope that this thing we’ve seen today will be the last time this happens. For every community that falls and gets destroyed we will build another.”(INN, 9/3/2012).

Volunteers Help Build Sukkahs in Rebuilt Migron: Volunteers helped built sukkahs in the new Migron in Samaria on Thursday. Migron, located in the Benyamin region of Samaria, was forcibly evicted on September 2 and then demolished. New caravan style trailer homes were built by the government in a nearby location to serve as temporary homes until a new, permanent Migron can be built (INN, 9/27/2012).

Shocking Video Testimony from Migron Destruction: A video filmed by residents during the Migron destruction speaks for itself. Warning: Emotionally wrenching if you love Israel.
