'World will pay if PA-Israel talks fail'
The international community will pay the price, should the new round of direct talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority fail, Jordan's King Abdullah II says (Press TV, Mon Sep 6, 2010).

The Maalot School Massacre, May 15, 1974: "It is important that the people of Israel know with whom we want to make peace."

Safed Mayor: I'll Block Terrorist Abu Mazen From City: Maimon, who was in the 1lth grade when terrorists attacked the school in the Galilee, near Safed, stated he will physically keep Abu Mazen out of the city if he tries to enter. The mayor termed the PA leader "worse than Arafat."

Recalling the brutal murders of school children, Maimon said, "I was a student in the 11th grade and my brother was in the 10th grade class. There was a warning that a terrorist gang was circulating in the area, causing us to sleep in the Nativ Meir school in Maalot. No one thought that the gang infiltrating into Israel also would get [to the school] and cold bloodedly murder 22 school children."

Maimon was held hostage by the terrorists and was the liaison in negotiations between terrorists and defense forces. "I still hear the echo of gunshots and screams of my friends," he recounted.

"Abu Mazen is responsible for sending the terrorists to commit the murders in Maalot. I will block his entry" into Safed, the mayor asserted. "The man is a murderer with Jewish blood on his hands and hides under the disguise of a peddler of peace. It is important that the people of Israel know with whom we want to make peace. He is worse than Arafat."

Reportedly, the man behind the plot was Abu Mazen, the man who controlled the money for PLO "activities" (Forzionssake.net).

Abu Mazen and the Munich Olympics massacre (September 5, 1972):
The mastermind of the Munich attack, Mohammed Daoud Oudeh, or Abu Daoud, claims Abu Mazen provided the funds to carry out the Black September attack. Daoud made that charge in his 1999 French language memoir, “Palestine: From Jerusalem to Munich,” and again in an interview last August with Don Yaeger of Sports Illustrated magazine.

Abu Daoud said he was angered by the dozens of Palestinian terrorists allowed to return to the Palestinian territories as a result of the Oslo process while he remained persona non grata to Israel and the United States. Abu Mazen, Daoud complained, is now considered “respectable” even though he also was involved in the Munich attack. Abu Mazen, part of the Palestinian hierarchy for nearly four decades, has served as PLO executive committee chairman.

In his book Abu Daoud states: “After Oslo in 1993, Abu Mazen went to the White House Rose Garden for a photo op with Arafat, President Bill Clinton and Israel’s Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres. Do you think that would have been possible if the Israelis had known that Abu Mazen was the financier of our operation? I doubt it.”

In the Sports Illustrated interview, he added: “Today, the Bush Administration seeks a Palestinian negotiating partner ‘uncompromised by terror,’ yet last year Abu Mazen met in Washington with Secretary of State Colin Powell.” Daoud also was interviewed about the Munich massacre for a film called “One Day in September,” produced by John Battsek and Arthur Cohn for Sony Pictures Classics. Director Kevin Macdonald said Abu Mazen admitted Black September was merely the cover name adopted by Fatah members when they wanted to carry out terrorist attacks.

The PLO operative recalled how Arafat and Abu Mazen both wished him luck and kissed him when he set about organizing the Munich attack.

Video: '40 Years of Silence on Munich Massacre Long Enough' : Families of Israeli athletes murdered at 1972 Olympics beseech International Olympic Committee to hold minute of silence. “One minute for the Munich 11 victims to show the world that the doctrine of the Olympic spirit to build a peaceful and better world, which requires mutual understanding with the spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play, is much more powerful than politics. “Please sign this petition for a minute of silence in memory of the Munich 11. Forty years has been long enough to wait” (INN, 4/24/2012).

VIDEO: Abbas admits sending terrorists to kill Israelis: "I demand [the release of] prisoners because they are human beings, who did what we, we, ordered them to do. We, the Authority..." (Palestinian TV (Fatah) Feb. 14, 2005, Palwatch.org/).

Abu Mazen also has been criticized for a 1983 book in which he suggested the figure of 6 million Jews killed in the Holocaust was “peddled” by the Jews. In “The Other Side: The Secret Relationship between Nazism and the Zionist Movement,” he said the Zionists collaborated with the Nazis to murder Jews in a plot to gain sympathy for creation of the state of Israel.

Abbas Eulogizes Munich Massacre Mastermind (07/04/10).

PA Minister Incites Terror: Follow Model of Munich Massacre: A Palestinian Authority minister encouraged people to follow the example of Munich massacre mastermind Abu Daoud. In a program on Hizbullah’s Al-Manar television earlier this month, PA Minister Mohammed Ishtayeh praised the terrorists who planned the massacre of Israeli athletes at the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972.

“The martyr Abu Daoud continues the convoy of martyrs who fell for the sake of Palestine,” the PA minister said. “We all follow his path. “As for the claim that history can be written in a different way, I think it is unjust to say that Palestinian history can be written in a different ink. The ink in which Palestinian history has been written is red. I believe it will continue to be written in red ink.”

Trying To "Launder" Abu Mazen (03/12/03):
It is important that the Jewish people understands how the Israeli Government together with the USA have deceived the Jewish people concerning the so-called "peace process." May you all feel deeply ashamed. No wonder why God sends enemies "against a hypocritical nation (Israel)" (Isaiah 10:5-6).

Arutz-7's Haggai Huberman reports that senior government officials instructed the IDF Spokesman to remove from the IDF website the report of an interview with Abu Mazen in which he expressed support for terrorist attacks against Israelis.

Abu Mazen, as well as the Palestinian Interior Minister, Hani Elhassan, justify the continuation of the armed struggle against Israeli civilians in [Yesha]. His comments also imply that Israeli residents of these regions are a 'legitimate target' for the 'resistance.

This was not the first time information about Abu Mazen has been censored for political reasons.
MK Aryeh Eldad (National Union) told Arutz-7 today that prior to the signing of the Oslo Accords in 1993, the Israeli Foreign Ministry and the U.S. State Department together asked the Simon Wiesenthal Center to conceal its information on Abu Mazen's Holocaust-denial writings. Eldad said that the Israeli and American diplomats were seeking to "launder" the man who was about to sign a historic agreement with Israel.

Yitzhak Rabin served as Israel's PM from 1992-1995. Shimon Peres served as Rabin's FM from 1992. Secret negotiations with Yasser Arafat's PLO organization led to the Oslo Accords, which won Peres, Rabin and Arafat the Nobel Peace Price. (US President George Bush 1989-1993, US President Bill Clinton 1993-2001).

Abu Mazen is the author of a book in Arabic book entitled, "The Other Side: The Secret Relationship Between Nazism and Zionism." The author's thesis is that the murder of six million Jews by the Nazis is a "Zionist fantasy' and a "fantastic lie." According to Abu Mazen, only 890,000 Jews were killed by Hitler, and that they were victims of a joint Zionist-Nazi plot.

"According to information I have received," MK Eldad said, "Israel's Foreign Ministry approached the Wiesenthal Center with the request to file away the translation [of Abu Mazen's work denying the Holocaust] and not to publish it. It was also made known to me that the US State Department made a parallel request. And the fact is that the translation has still not been published."

Isaiah 28:14-15,18 "Wherefore hear the word of HaShem, ye scoffers, the ballad-mongers of this people which is in Jerusalem: " Because ye have said: 'We have made a covenant with death (a killer), and with the nether-world (hell) are we at agreement;.."

After the 1993 "Oslo Agreement" between the Israeli government and the P.L.O. leading Torah scholars applied this verse to those in Israel who thought they could make a protective covenant with terrorists. "And your covenant with death shall be disannulled and your agreement with the nether-world shall not stand;.."

Psalm 1:1-6 "The praises of a man are that he did not follow the counsel of the wicked, neither did he stand in the way of sinners nor sit in the company of scorners.
But his desire is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be as a tree planted beside rivulets of water, which brings forth its fruit in its season, and its leaves do not wilt; and whatever he does prosper." See also Jeremiah 17:5-10.

"Not so the wicked, but [they are] like chaff that the wind drives away." See also Psalm Ch. 83. " Therefore, the wicked shall not stand up in judgment, nor shall the sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish." The Book of Psalms begins by asserting that the keys to good fortune are to shun evil influences and to study the Torah.

Hamas: Jews in Judea, Samaria 'Legitimate Targets' and vowed to continue its attacks in the region. Hamas spokesman Azat al-Ghashek told the London-based Arabic language Al-Hayat newspaper it is “natural” to hurt Jews in the region because they are “the reserve force of the occupation army on Palestinian land.”

Mortar lands near kindergarten; no injuries: Wave of attacks on south Israel continues as Gaza terrorists fire mortar shell half-hour before children arrive at kindergartens in Negev kibbutz. 'Attack could have ended in great tragedy,' resident says ( Ynetnews, 09.08.10).

Netanyahu attacks Ahmadinejad's Holocaust denial: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu brandished at the U.N. on Thursday Nazi-era documents on the extermination of Jews, dramatically rebutting Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's denial of the Holocaust.

"Yesterday, the man who called the Holocaust a lie spoke from this podium," Netanyahu said in an address to the U.N. General Assembly. "To those who refused to come and to those who left in protest, I commend you," he said. "But to those who gave this Holocaust denier a hearing, I say on behalf of my people, the Jewish people, and decent people everywhere: Have you no shame? Have you no decency?" (Reuters, Thu, Sep 24 2009).

Report: Abbas’ Holocaust-Denial Dissertation Widely-Taught in PA: Research by the Center for Near East Policy Research Center has found that the doctoral dissertation of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas “stars” throughout the Palestinian Authority educational curriculum, and “is the basis for Holocaust studies in the PA.” The doctorate was published as a book in 1984, entitled,"The Other Side: the Secret Relationship Between Nazism and Zionism.” It was completed in 1982 at a university in Communist Russia, and was defended at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

It downgrades the number of Holocaust victims to “[possibly] below one million,” and accuses Zionist leaders of encouraging the persecution of Jews.
It also denies that the gas chambers were used to murder Jews, quoting a "scientific study" to that effect by French Holocaust-denier Robert Faurisson (INN, 04/28/11).  See 'Hypocrisy'

Netanyahu to Abu Mazen: "You're My Partner for Peace" He said he came to Washington to achieve “secure, durable peace for all sides,” not to play “a blame game” or “to find excuses." However, he emphasized, he would not make any concessions in terms of security. “Peace must provide security,” he said, and the “West Bank,” as he called it, must not become one that is dominated by terrorists, as occurred in Lebanon and Gaza. He said he is confident that peace is possible.

Mahmoud Abbas' Personal Responsibility for Terror

PA Violence Escalates with Mortar, Rifle and Rock Attacks: Arab violence escalated sharply on Monday, with a mortar attack from Gaza, at least four stoning attacks on Israelis and gunshots at policemen, two of whom were lightly wounded. Israeli mainstream media ignored virtually all of the attacks. The increase terror followed l ast week’s ambush that killed four Israeli citizens south of Israel and a “drive-by” shooting that wounded two civilians in Samaria... (INN, 09/06/10).

PA Chief Abbas: We Left Galilee on Our Own: Fatah chief Mahmoud Abbas says the Arabs of the Galilee city of Tzfat left in 1948 not because they were driven out, but on their own volition.

It is notable that the Abbas family moved back to Damascus, as that is likely the place where it had originated less than 90 years earlier. Joan Peters, in her scholarly work “From Time Immemorial” on the Arab population of Israel, writes that in 1860, “Algerian tribes moved from Damascus en masse to Safed.” She notes that the Muslims in the city were mostly descended from Moorish settlers and from Kurds –
more evidence negating the claim that the Arabs in the Land of Israel had been there “from time immemorial.”

Netanyahu: Arabs Must Accept Jewish State: “Last year was one of the safest years in two decades,” Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told Israelis in a message for the Jewish New Year. “But last week's brutal murder of four Israelis, including a mother of six and a pregnant woman, remind us that we must never take our security for granted.”

Mahmoud Abbas' Non-recognition of Israel

Sha'ath: PA will never recognize Israel as Jewish: Week after launching of direct talks, Palestinian negotiator says recognizing Israel as Jewish state would 'directly threaten Muslims, Christians' and prevent Palestinian refugees from 'returning to their homes'

Earlier this week, Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit said Israel's demand to be recognized as a Jewish state is worrying. "If the international community defines Israel as a Jewish state – such a decision should be approved by the UN," Aboul Gheit said.

On November 29, 1947, the UN General Assembly, passed Resolution 181 partitioning Palestine into two states, one Jewish and one Arab.

After the vote was announced, the six Arab delegations of Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen stormed out threatening war and the annihilation of the Palestinian Jews. Pakistan's delegation followed suit. The Arab national movement in Palestine, as well as all the Arab states, angrily rejected partition. They demanded the entire country for themselves and threatened to resist partition by force. Had they accepted the UN proposal in 1947, the independent Palestinian Arab state, covering an area much larger than Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) and Gaza, would have been created along with Israel. Instead, they rejected the plan and launched a war to destroy the nascent Jewish state. Almost immediately there was Arab violence against the Jews in Palestine...

The Jordanian threat: King Abdullah II of Jordan warned in comments; that time is running out for the Obama administration to help acheive a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians. "I've heard people in Washington talking about Iran, again Iran, always Iran," "But I insist on, and keep insisting on the Palestinian question: the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the most serious threat to the stability of the region and the Mediterranean." He said the two sides have a window of opportunity over the next year to make progress on creating a two-state solution, after which point the possibility of a Palestinian state will disappear as more Arab land gets swallowed up by Jewish settlements. (AP, October 19th 2009).

Jordan's King Abdullah II has warned of a new regional war if failure of peace talks - with Israel stalling -  moderate Arab states are losing support for peace initiative - which require a complete withdrawal from ”occupied territories” Golan Heights, Gaza, Judea & Samaria, E. Jerusalem (Old City, Temple Mount, Western Wall, Mount of Olives).

The Egyptian threat: Alluding to Israeli suggestions
that the Iranian nuclear program is the region's major problem, Aboul Gheit, said he and Clinton discussed Iran, but that the Palestinian question is the core issue and that continued inaction on it would pose dangers beyond the Middle East. "In the absence of such negotiations, and success of the negotiations and seeing the emergence of Palestinian state living side-by-side with Israel, then I think situation will worsen in this part of the world and we will be, all of us, not only people in the region but countries in the region but also the United States and the Western world as well as the world at large-we will be all witnessing a very difficult situation, " (Press Availability With Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Ali Aboul Gheit, May 27, 2009).

That is, we will face the new Islamic sword; a nuclear Iran, Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, etc. terrorist attacks. Egypt and Jordan seems to be one of the nations helping Iran to reach their goal.

Mubarak: Palestine key to regional security: Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was present during the 1 September launch of direct peace negotiations between Israeli and Palestinain leaders, alongside Jordanian King Abdullah II. The two leaders announced their enforcement of the talks, and Egypt will reportedly host the next round of direct meetings on 14-15 September.

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has refused to freeze settlement construction in the West Bank, but still wants President Mahmoud Abbas to continue with direct peace talks. To do so, Netanyahu is reportedly offering “generous” gestures such as releasing hundreds of Palestinian prisoners and transferring more West Bank territories to the control of the Palestinian Authority. Israel’s ambassador to Washington Michael Oren was quoted Sunday by the Israeli daily Ma'ariv telling leaders of the Jewish Federation that Netanyahu would offer the Palestinians “generous” gestures to keep them talking.

Amongst the gestures, according to Ma'ariv, will be the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, removing military checkpoints in the West Bank, transferring new territories to the PA and approving a road between Ramallah and Ar-Rawabi city, the first planned Palestinian city in the outskirts of Ramallah in the central West Bank (Ma'an News, 06/09/2010).

US has Big Plans: Peace Talks between Israel, Lebanon, Syria:

"Instead of mobilizing the world to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, President Obama is mobilizing the world to stop Israel from building homes for their citizens on their own territory. Imagine how the White House would respond if a foreign government demanded that no African-Americans be allowed to build or buy homes in Washington DC! Yet the Obama Administration calls it a "provocation " when Israel wants to build homes for Jews in Jerusalem—the eternal capital of the nation of Israel.

President Obama has promised Saudi King Abdullah that he will force Israel to divide Jerusalem and completely give up Judea and Samaria in 2011... This would be a disaster. It would be catastrophic for Israel, leaving them with borders that cannot be defended…and it would be catastrophic for America (Europe, the Middle East, etc) as we suffer the righteous judgment and curse of God declared in Genesis 12:3 for cursing the Jewish people" (Mike Evans).

What about all the "calming " talks on Iran's uranium that was supposed to be sent to Russia for enrichment - now as Iran has announced they will make their own fuel for the research reactor within a year (JPost, 08/31/2010). Experts also say that an attack on Iran's nukes are already too late (Newsmax).

Blair warns over deep-rooted radical Islam: "Former prime minister Tony Blair warned on Sunday that the roots of radical Islam were far deeper than we think and said Al-Qaeda would have killed 300,000 on September 11, 2001 if they could. "This is actually more like the phenomenon of revolutionary communism," Blair said in an interview with ABC News, commenting on the reach of Islamic extremism. "It's the religious or cultural equivalent of it, and its roots are deep, its tentacles are long, and its narrative about Islam stretches far further than we think into even parts of mainstream opinion who abhor the extremism, but sort of buy some of the rhetoric that goes with it," he added."

Radical Islam has its roots in Christianity and they have to bee routed out. See "Radical Islam."

"The former leader took a similarly hard line on Iran, which many in the international community fear is seeking nuclear weapons under the guise of a civilian nuclear energy programme . "I would tell them they can't have it, and if necessary, they will be confronted with stronger sanctions and diplomacy. But if that fails, I'm not taking any option off the table," he said. Blair said he did not favour war with Iran but added: "I'm saying I think you cannot exclude it because the primary objective has got to be to prevent them from getting a nuclear weapon" (Yahoo News,
Sun Sep 5, 2010 ).

IAEA: Iran Speeding Up Nuclear Program: The International Atomic Energy Agency expressed its concern again Monday that Iran is trying to develop nuclear weapons, and said that the Tehran government has sped up its program in spite of the sanctions taken against it, according to a Monday report by Kol Yisrael government radio. The concerns are part of a secret report obtained by news agencies (INN, Sep/06/10).

But, US President Obama thinks he can halt Iran's nuclear ambitions by a "dissolution of the Jewish state. "Obama about to betray Israel, says former intel official (Israel Today, March 19, 2009). White House links Iran nukes to Palestinian state, (May 04, 2009 Israel Today). Report: Obama leverages Iran to extract Israeli concessions, (Aug. 26, 2009 Israel Today).

Obama: US Backing for Israel's Security Led to Talks with PA: Looking back on the year in review, U.S. President Barack Obama told 600 rabbis from across the religious spectrum last week that America's backing of Israel's security was the primary reason that direct talks got off the ground with the Palestinian Authority (INN, 09/12/10).

Nuclear Agency: Iran Defies UN, Possesses 2.8 Tons of Uranium: Iran continues to snub the United Nations and has produced 2.8 tons of enriched uranium, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported Monday. Iran previously enriched uranium to a five percent grade, but increased the purification level to nearly 20 percent last February.

We can read in the Bible how God made Darius of Media & Cyrus of Persia His agents to overthrow the wicked Babylonians. (Isaiah Chs. 13-14, Jer. Ch. 50, Book of Daniel). Retribution came to Babylon because they plundered God's heritage - Jerusalem.

Isaiah 47:6 "
I became wroth with My people, I violated My heritage, and I delivered them into your hand; you did not show them mercy; on the aged you made your yoke very heavy." Babylon would succeed in overcoming Judah only because God was angry with His people and therefore delivered them into her hand. Babylon was merely intended to be His instrument, but she went beyond her brief, causing Israel unwarranted suffering, and this was the reason why she was to be cast down. The Midrash applies this verse to Edom as if "Babylon" is a term for Israel 's persecutors in general.

Abbas Asks Obama’s Officials to Confront Israel on Freeze: Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has publicly put U.S. President Barack Obama on the spot, telling reporters that he asked the president to “intervene in the settlement issue,” the Associated Press reported.President Obama has sided with the PA, describing as “illegitimate” all Jewish communities in areas where the PA demands sovereignty, including neighborhoods in Jerusalem where 300,000 Jews live (INN, 09/07/10).

Ezekiel 38:9-13. "And thou (Gog Prince of Magog) shalt ascend, thou shalt come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many peoples (Magog) with thee."

In learning from the past; in Isaiah 5:20-30 we see it was because the people despised God's Torah that they would be smitten with His retribution. "And He will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth; and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly;.." (v 26). This refers generically to all Israel's enemies and persecutors, but specifically to the armies of Assyria, which in the time of King Hezekiah invaded and ravaged the whole of Judea (RaDaK on v 29).

Jewish Towns Under PA Rule? PM Binyamin Netanyahu has been talking of “creative solutions” lately, and some reports say he means Palestinian Authority rule over Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria (INN, 09/07/10,).

Isaiah 28:2 "Behold, the L-rd hath a mighty and strong one, as a storm of hail, a tempest of destruction, as a storm of mighty waters overflowing, that casteth down to the earth with violence." This alludes to  Sennacherib, who was to carry the Ten Tribes into exile.

Jeremiah 4:1-2 "If you repent, O Israel - the word of HaShem - you will return to Me. If you remove your abominations (idolatry, unclean foods, evil deeds, etc) from before Me, then you will not (have to) wander. If you swear, 'As HaShem lives!" in truth, in justice, and in righteousness, the nations will bless themselves through (Israel), and will praise themselves through it."

The prophet Jeremiah urges his brothers to take a sincere oath to repent, and if they would do so, they would enjoy such good fortune... From verse 4, Jeremiah begins to warn of the evil that will come if the people do not repent.

Jeremiah 4:7-8 "A lion (Nebuchadnezzar/Ahmadinejad) is gone up from his thicket, and a destroyer of nations is set out, gone forth from his place; to make thy land desolate, that thy cities be laid waste, without inhabitant. For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and wail; for the fierce anger of HaShem is not turned back from us. (See Jonah Ch. 3, Fast of Gedaliah, at Sunday).

Ahmadinejad Calls Jews "Hypocritical Racists” and Calls for Increased Palestinian Resistance: At a rally marking the last Friday of Ramadan, called Quds (Jerusalem) Day by Muslims, Iranian President Ahmadinejad called Israel a nation of "hypocritical racists” and decried the peace talks held this past week in Washington. He called for the Palestinians to "decide the fate of their own lands.”

In a more direct and ominous statement, Iranian Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri told the official Iranian News Agency that Jerusalem Day "pave[s] the way for the collapse of Israel and its allies, namely the US and Britain.” Iran has smuggled tens of thousands of missiles and rockets to its terrorist proxies Hezbollah and Hamas for use against Israel. Intelligence experts think it is likely that attacks against Israel, possibly even all-out war, will be launched by Hamas and/or Hezbollah to prevent Israel from striking Iran to halt development of their nuclear program.

Iran Threatens Strike at Israeli Nuclear Facility: The chief of staff of Iran’s military, Hassan Firouzabadi, said that Iran would strike Israel’s nuclear facility if Israel launches an attack against Iran’s nuclear weapons program. “We hope not to be forced to attack,” he said (MiddleEastMediaGroup).

The following prophecy Amos Ch. 3, which begins in verse 9 is introduced by a series of rethorical questions. Their theme is just as events can be understood only if one knows their cause, so too, the calamities that befall Israel must be understood as punishment for sin, never as coincidence.

Amos 3:1-8 "Hear this word that HaShem hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up out of the land of Egypt, saying: You only have I known of all the families of the earth; therefore I will visit upon you all your iniquities." Amos explicitly addresses the ENTIRE FAMILY of Israel - the kingdom of Judah (Jews) and the Lost Ten Tribes (mainly Christians or Muslims). (See Ezekiel Ch. 37:15-28). See Genesis 18:17-19. See also commentaries to this Chapter:

"Will two walk together, except they have agreed? Will a lion roar in the forest, when he hath no prey? Will a young lion give forth his voice out of his den, if he have taken nothing?" The lion also alludes to Nebuchadnezzar and Ahmadinejad. "Will a bird fall in a snare upon the earth, where there is no lure for it? Will a snare spring up from the ground, and have taken nothing at all?"

Shall the horn be blown in a city, and the people not tremble? Shall evil befall a city, and HaShem hath not done it? See also Joel Chs. 1-4. The blast of the Shofar is emblematic of the call of the prophet to the people to repent before the evil comes (Joel 2:1).

"For the L-rd GOD will do nothing, but He revealeth His counsel unto His servants the prophets." So when you are warned of imminent punishment, why do you fail to repent?

"The lion hath roared, who will not fear? The L-rd GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?" Just as one cannot ignore a lion's roar, so the prophets cannot ignore the command to prophecy (Rashi).

Hosea 5:14-15 "For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah; I, even I, will tear and go away, I will take away, and there shall be none to deliver. I will go and return to My place, till they acknowledge their guilt, and seek My face; in their trouble they will seek Me earnestly:

Hosea 6:1-2 'Come, and let us return unto the LORD; for He hath torn, and He will heal us, He hath smitten, and He will bind us up. After two days will He revive us, on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live in His presence."

"He will strengthen us after the two punishments that have befallen us, the destruction of the First and Second Temples, and raise us up with the building of the Third Temple" (Rashi). Even if our misfortune is prolonged and "incurable," He will heal us in a matter of days (Kara).

Or will the false prophets (Ambassadors) of peace again deceive the people, with the result that the people will not repent, laying themselves open to disastrous consequences?

II Chronicles 32:26 "Notwithstanding Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of HaShem came not upon them in the days of Hezekiah." See also II Chr. Ch. 7, I Kings Ch. 8.

Obama: We Should Encourage Those Who Work Towards Peace: In a video released Tuesday, US President Barack Obama extended his personal greetings to the Jewish people in honor of Rosh Hashanah.

The intention of Gog and his allies (Obama & Co) is to despoil Israel of their wealth and appropriate their land (Ezekiel 38:12-13, 36:2,5, Psalm 83), and not to bring peace to the Jewish people.

Isaiah 10:5-6 "Woe that Assyria is the rod of My wrath with which to chastise My people, and My fury is a staff in their hand[s]. Against a hypocritical nation (Israel) I will incite them, and upon the people of My anger will I command them, to plunder and to spoil spoils, and to make it trodden down like the mud of the streets."

The nations that rise up against Israel are nothing but God's rod of chastisement - and this is exactly how we must view Iran, USA, Syria, the
"Palestinians", "Hizbullah," "Hamas" and all the others who persecute Israel today. Sennacherib's advance against Jerusalem was the prototype of the destined attack by Gog and Magog at the end of days. God's purpose in sending them is to bring us to repent with all our hearts.

This evening the Jewish people will celebrate the beginning of a New Year. This is the start of Judaism’s important period of holy days concluded by Yom Kippur 18th September. Rosh Hashanah is the first and second days of the first Jewish month of Tishrei. The celebration of this holiday is marked with solemnity, as it is the day on which the whole world is judged for the coming year.

Rosh Hashanah is the birthday of the world, as it was on this day that God created Man on the 6th day of creation. Genesis 1:31 “And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very good.” Every year, on Rosh HaShanah, Jews proclaim God as the ONE and the true King. This year the holiday begins Wednesday evening Sept. 8 through Friday Sept. 10th immediately followed by Shabbat.

Rosh HaShanah: Sound of the Shofar Heralds Month of Holidays

The Shabbat between Rosh Hashanah (Day of Judgment) and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) is called Shabbat Shuvah (“Shabbath of return.”) and  refers to the ten days of repentance that falls in between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. “Teshuvah” means “repentance,” Hosea 14:2-3, 3:4-5, therefore this Shabbat is also called Shabbat of Repentance. Teshuvah means we return to the path God set for us by the way of the Torah.

As the year is coming to an end, and we reflect on the past and look forward to a new and better year, God willing. I  would like to wish all of you a year of happiness and health, prosperity and continued  materially and spiritually growth (Joshua 1:8)! By the end of the Jewish Year one says: "Finished are the old year and its curses! Let the New Year and its blessings begin!" May therefore all of you be inscribed and sealed for a Good year with a life filled with blessings!

Job 37:5,7 ”God thundereth marvellously with His voice; great things doeth He, which we cannot comprehend. He sealeth up the hand of every man, that all men whom He hath made may know it.”

Psalm 111:2-9 ”The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have delight therein. His work is glory and majesty; and His righteousness endureth for ever. He hath made a memorial for His wonderful works; the LORD is gracious and full of compassion. He hath given food unto them that fear Him; He will ever be mindful of His covenant.

He hath declared to His people the power of His works, in giving them the heritage of the nations. The works of His hands are truth and justice; all His precepts are sure. They are established for ever and ever, they are done in truth and uprightness. He hath sent redemption unto His people; He hath commanded His covenant for ever; Holy and awful is His name.” Genesis 9:9-17, Leviticus Ch. 26, Deuteronomy 11:26-28, Ch. 28, Isaiah Chs. 24, 33-34, Malachi 3:22-24.

Christians believe: Galatians 3:13 CJB "The Messiah redeemed us from the curse pronounced in the Torah..." but that is absolutely not true.

Isaiah 24:1-6 says: "Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the creditor, so with the debtor.

The earth shall be utterly emptied, and clean despoiled; for the LORD hath spoken this word. The earth fainteth and fadeth away, the world faileth and fadeth away, the lofty people of the earth do fail. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws (two Torahs, the Written and the Oral, cf. Lev. 26:46), violated the statute, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath a curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are found guilty; therefore the inhabitants of the earth waste away, and men are left few."

This prophecy refers to the earth as a whole and to the devastation that will strike the nations at the time of the redemption of Israel including both the Lost Ten Tribes (Israel) and the people of Judah (Jews). If this prophesy refers to Israel, it is referring to the transgression of the two Torahs, the written and the oral (Metzudas David). If it refers to the nations of the world, it refers to the transgression of the Seven Laws of Noah, "the everlasting covenant God made between Himself and all flesh" (Genesis 9:1-17) and their persecution of Israel in excess of what God decreed, "For pursuing their brother with a sword, and they destroyed their mercy and grasped forever their anger and kept their fury forever" (Amos 1:9-12) thereby violating the covenant of brotherhood:that should have existed between Esau, Ammon, Moab and Ishmael and their close relative Israel (Azamra.org). Verses 24:17-20 are are final prophesies of doom against the nations.

Zechariah 13:8-9 "And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried; they shall call on My name, and I will answer them; I will say: 'It is My people', and they shall say: 'The LORD is my God.'

According to Metzudas David, the "land" refers to the whole world, and the "two parts" refer to all the other nations, who are included under Edom and Ishmael, while the "third" that will be left refers to Israel. Rashi interprets the "third" that will be left as those members of the other nations who will convert. See also Isaiah 56:1-8.

"Therefore, if you belong to a religion which comprise more than a third of the population of the world, check your theology, the Jews are a minority" (Rabbi Tovia Singer).

Zechariah 14:16 "And it will come to pass that everyone left of the nations who came up against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to prostrate himself to the King, the Lord of Hosts, and to celebrate the festival of Tabernacles." See also Isaiah Ch. 4, Jeremiah 3:14-15.

The War of Gog and Magog will be a turbulent and difficult time for Israel filled with troubles and trials. (Jeremiah 30:7-11, Daniel 12:1) for a short period. And God will test His people to see if they will stand firm in their faith (Deuteronomy 26:16-19, Ezekiel 22:18-22, Malachi 3:1-4).

The Vilna Gaon said that the last war, Milchemet Gog uMagog, is going to last only 12 minutes because they are going to have such weapons.... We know that the final redemption, the final Geula, it's going to be like when you left Egypt - only one-fifth of our people left Egypt. Four-fifths perished... during the plague of darkness.

In order to reverse negative prophecies which warn of pain, suffering, famine, and death during the end of days, Rebbetzin Jungreis says one must first understand the imminence of the arrival of the Messiah.

Rebbetzin Esther Jungreis: Prepare for the Coming of Messiah

"And the LORD shall scatter you (Israel, the Lost Tribes) among the peoples, and ye shall be left few in number among the nations, whither the LORD shall lead you away. And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. But from thence (the exile) ye will seek the LORD thy God; and thou shalt find Him, if thou search after Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

In thy distress, when all these things are come upon thee (the choice between the blessing or the curse, i.e., the choice of whether to accept the Torah or not, see Deut. Ch. 30), in the end of days, thou wilt return to the LORD thy God, and hearken unto His voice; for the LORD thy God is a merciful God; He will not fail thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He swore unto them" (Deuteronomy 4:27-31, 11:26-28, Ch. 28, Leviticus Ch. 26, Malachi 3:22-24, Jeremiah 30:7-11).

Repentance, return (Hosea 3:4-5, 14:2-3, Isaiah 55:6-9, Jeremiah Chs. 3-4), Prayers (Psalm Chs. 32, 51, Nehemiah Ch. 9), confession (Proverbs 28:13, Leviticus 26:40-46), fasting (Zechariah 8:19, Leviticus 16:29-30) and Charity (Daniel 4:24, Psalm 41:2-4, Proverbs 10:2, 11:4) can reverse the evil decree.

Daniel in Chapter 9 prays for redemption and he puts fitting words of repentance and supplication into the mouths of all of us. Daniel begins his prayer with the confession of sin  (v 4-5)expressing our deep shame and contrition over the misdemeanors that have led to our national exile. The prayer is designed to guide us to internalize the bitter lesson and moral of the destruction of the Temple and the exile, which came about exactly as the Torah had warned."As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us; yet have we not entreated the favour of HaShem our G-d, that we might turn from our iniquities, and have discernment in Thy truth" (v 13).

Haazinu, Deuteronomy 32:1-52 Moses' Last Song by Avraham ben Yaakov

Peace will only come to the world when all humanity submit themselves to HaShem and embrace His Torah – whose "ways are ways of pleasantness and all of whose paths are peace" (Proverbs3:17). Israel must repent and return to the practice of their 613 Commandments, and all the other peoples must repent and practice the Seven Noahide Laws. This is the only way left.

Let us search and investigate our ways, and return to HaShem (Lam. 3:40).
