Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion,
for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hooves copper; and you shall crush many nations, and you shall devote their plunder (what they gathered from robbery and violence, see Isaiah 61:6-9) to the Lord, and their wealth (their possessions) to the Lord of all the earth (Micah 4:13).

"Yea, even Judah will fight against Jerusalem!
And the wealth of all the nations round about-gold and silver and apparel-will be gathered in very great abundance" (Zechariah 14:14).

"
Mine is the silver, and Mine the gold, saith the LORD of hosts. The glory of this latter (ACHARON) house shall be greater than that of the former, and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts" (Haggai 2:9, Isaiah 56:1-8, 60:6-7,13, Ezekiel 37:21-28, Chs. 40-47).

The apparently redundant word ACHARON "latter" or "last", thus alludes to the Third Temple, which will be the greatest of all!

But they (the nations) did not know the thoughts of the Lord; neither did they understand His counsel, for He gathered them as sheaves to a threshing floor" (Michah 4:12). God says He will put hooks into the jaws of Gog, and bring them forth! (Ezekiel 38:3-4). He "will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and shall see My glory" (Isaiah 66:18). "He will "gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle." "Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fighteth in the day of battle " (Zechariah 14:2-3). "And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem" (Zechariah 12:9, Isaiah 60:12).

"And the LORD shall be King over all the earth; in that day shall the LORD be One, and His name one" (Zechariah 14:9, Tzefaniah 3:9, 2:11, Deuteronomy 6:4). In today's world only Israel recognizes HaShem as the One and Only, thus He is our God, but after the final Redemption, all the world will acknowledge that HaShem is One (Rashi).

And the Holy One, blessed be He, will say to the people of Israel "Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion." But, if she succeeds, the Moshiach might as well be a woman.

"Be exceedingly happy, O daughter of Zion; Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem. Behold! Your king shall come to you. He is just (TZADIK VE'NOSHA) and victorious; humble, and riding a donkey and a foal, the offspring of [one of] she-donkeys"  (Zechariah 9:9).

Moshiach is not called a savior but rather, one who has been saved (VE-NOSHA). The two Hebrew words TZADIK and NOSHA, are literally: RIGHT, RIGHTEOUS, proved to be right, and saved. Not a Christian style savior, but just a saved human.
The Hebrew verb in this verse "VE'NOSHA," is gramaticlly in the passive form, the "VE" simply means "AND." "NOSHA" is the verb, meaning "ONE WHO HAS BEEN SAVED." If the verb were active "SAVIOR" the Hebrew woild say "MOSHIA" and it does not, indicating that the true future Redeemer be not a man of flesh and blood but God alone (Rabbi Avraham Greenbaum).

"And you-tower of the flock (identified as the Messiah), the tower of the daughter of Zion-to you it shall come; yea, the former kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem." (Micah 4:8, Tzefaniah Ch. 3).

"Verily Thou art a God that hidest Thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour (MOSHIA). They shall be ashamed, yea, confounded, all of them; they shall go in confusion together that are makers of idols. O Israel, that art saved by the LORD with an everlasting salvation; ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end" (Isaiah 45:15-17).

Jeremiah 29:11-14 "And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart." See the prophesy of Moshe: The choice between the blessing or the curse "which I have set before thee" at the end of days; is nothing less than the choice of whether to accept the Torah or not.  Deuteronomy 4:27-31, 30:1-6, Hosea 3:4-5, 14:2-3. Non-Jews are only obligated to obey the seven commandments given to Noah (Genesis 9:8-17), Jews are responsible for fulfilling the  613 mitzvot in the Torah. Nations, kingdoms and empires will be judged on how they treat the Jewish people (Genesis 12:3).

"I, even I, am the LORD; and beside Me there is no saviour (MOSHIA). I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King" (Isaiah 43:11,15, Hosea 13:4). "For the LORD is our Judge, the LORD is our Lawgiver, the LORD is our King; He will save us" (Isaiah 33:22).

David bought the threshing floor of Aravnah the Jebusite (He is called Ornan the Jebusite in I Chronicles  Ch. 21), so the Temple could be built there (II Samuel 24:24). Aravnah's property was on Mount Moriah, the site of Abraham's intended sacrifice of Isaac (Genesis Ch. 22). As it is said (II Chronicles 3:1): "And Solomon commenced to build the House of the Lord in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where He had appeared to his father David, which he had prepared in David's place, in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite."

"It is significant that on a threshing floor, wheat is threshed until the grain falls out, after which it is winnowed to separate the wheat from the chaff. Threshing floors are built on an elevated site to allow the wind to blow away the light husks, leaving the heavier grain behind. Threshing floors were also used for pagan images and rituals. On Jerusalem’s Temple Mount, the pagan edifices must cease to exist before God establishes His Third Temple there. "...and on high, among abominations, will be the dumb one (the pagan deity), and until destruction and extermination befall the dumb one" (Daniel 9:27). And total destruction will descend upon the image of the pagan deity and upon its worshippers.

"He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God (Col. 1:15). "Messiah, who is the image of God," (2 Cor. 4:4). "Christ Jesus, himself human," (1 Timothy 2:5).

So a cosmic showdown is unfolding over the Temple Mount, according to the prophet Zechariah (chapters 12 and 14). This dispute goes far beyond Israel and the Palestinians. Israel will face an onslaught from the entire world, with the Moslems leading the holy war (Jihad) against the Jews. The Temple Mount embodies the struggle between Isaac and Ishmael" (God's Threshing Floor, Israel Today, May 17, 2005).

"For Muslims, Ishmael, the father of the Arabs, Abraham's other son, is the one who Abraham bound and almost sacrificed to the Lord. Ishmael and not Isaac. In their minds Abraham is the first Muslim, Islam is the true religion, and Muslims are the chosen people; it is they who "will inherit the cities of their enemies" (Genesis 22:17). The fundamental disagreement as to who was at the Akeida, the Binding, is at the root of the Arab-Jewish conflict. Isaac, the grandfather of the twelve tribes of Israel was chosen to represent Abraham and his ideals forever. He and his offspring only, the Jewish people, are the true representatives of Abraham's heritage. (Yishai Fleisher, Moshiach bin Laden, INN, 09/18/03).

These verses give evidence to this truth: "And they blessed Rebecca and said to her, "Our sister, may you become thousands of myriads, and may your seed inherit the cities of their enemies" (Genesis 24:60, Daniel 7:10). Rebekah and her seed received that blessing that was stated to Abraham on Mount Moriah (Gen. 22:17, 26:1-5, 28:10-22).

"Who said, "Let us inherit for ourselves the dwellings of God." That was Edom, Ishmael and all their allies! " My God, make them like thistles, like stubble before the wind..."(Psalm 83:13-14, see also Ezekiel 36:1-8, II Chronicles 20:5-29).

" Nations, like the rushing of many waters, they rush, and He shall rebuke them, and he shall flee from afar, and he shall be pursued like the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like the thistle blossoms before the tempest." He likens the wicked to the most inferior of all species - the chaff. "At eventide, behold there is fright, before morning he (the enemy) is no more. This is the portion of our plunderers (of Gog and Magog, when they come to plunder us) and the lot of our spoilers" (Isaiah 17:13-14, see Job 21:17-18). "Let them be as chaff before the wind, with an angel of the Lord thrusting them" (Psalm 35:5, Isaiah 63:9, Daniel 12:1).

"Although the place of the Temple is occupied by a center of idolatry, this will endure only until the decreed day of its destruction with the coming of Mashiah" (Daniel 9:27). "And the Canaanite will no longer be in the House of HaShem of hosts…" If this is taken literally, it indicates that the Temple Mount will no longer be in the hands of aliens.  (Zechariah 14:21). We may presume that the Temple Mount will no longer be insulted by being called merely the "third holiest place" of a tradition that does not recognize the name of HaShem or Moses his prophet. Rather, the Temple Mount will be the central focus of the entire world, from which the Torah – the word of HaShem – will go forth to all parts of the globe (Micah 4:1-5, Isaiah 2:2-5, Rabbi Avraham Greenbaum). And then, there will be peace.

The Jewish Temple was first built by King Solomon (Shlomo) about 3,000 years ago. It served as the spiritual center of the Hebrew nation and as a place of national pilgrimage and sacrifice. Serviced by the priestly class (Kohanim) and Levites, the Temple contained the Seven-Branched Menorah and housed the golden Holy Ark within a room known as the Holy of Holies. The Temple was completed in 968 BCE and inaugurated in the year 961 BCE with great festivals and burnt offerings.

The First Temple was razed by Babylonian conquerors led by Nebuchadnezzar in 586 BCE, rebuilt by Jews by permission of a Persian emperor, Cyrus (Daniel 9:25, Isaiah 44:28, 45:1-7), defiled by Greeks and then re-consecrated by the Hasmoneans, and burnt down again by Romans led by Titus in 70 CE  (Daniel 9:26-27). (See Raad Salah: Netanyahu will Try to Rebuild the Jewish Temple, INN 05/26/09). The Western Wall, which stands in Jerusalem today, is a remnant of the Second Temple.

"Other pre-Crusades Islamic traditions regarding the Dome of the Rock highlight a heavy Jewish role at the site. Hebrew University professor Dr. Moshe Sharon: "The Shape of the Holy." "One tradition says, ''The Jews used to light the lamps of Bayt al Maqdis.'' Bayt al-Maqdis is the exact Arabic rendering of the Hebrew Beit Hamikdash, and is reminiscent of the lighting of the Menorah in the Temple,"

Other Islamic traditions mention Temple customs practiced by
Jews in the Dome, such as the use of incense, oil lamps and prayer services conducted by wuld Harun, Arabic for "the sons of Aaron." "There is nothing remotely Islamic in these rituals and the traditions insist that they took place on Mondays and Thursdays. These days have no meaning in Islam but are of particular sacredness in Jewish tradition," (Alex Sorin, Jerusalem Post).

Christians do not take into account the historical facts and their own miscalculation and mistranslation of Daniel 9:25-27.

Daniel 9:25 JPCT "And you shall know and understand that from the emergence of the word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem until the anointed king (Cyrus, king of Persia, Isaiah 44:28, 45:1-7,13; Ezra 1:1-2) [shall be] seven weeks, and [in] sixty-two weeks it will return and be built street and moat, but in troubled times."

Daniel 9:25 KJV "Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times."

By creating a sixty-nine week period, which is not divided into two separate periods of |seven weeks and sixty-two weeks respectively, Christians reach an incorrect conclusion, |i.e., that the Messiah (Jesus) will come 483 years after the destruction of the First Temple (Daniel 9:25 Translation, Jews for Judaism).

Daniel 9:26 JPCT "
And after the sixty-two weeks, the anointed one will be cut off, and he will be no more (Agrippa, the king of Judea, who was ruling at the time of the destruction, was slain), and the people of the coming monarch (Titus and his armies) will destroy the city and the Sanctuary, and his end will come about by inundation, and until the end of the war, it will be cut off into desolation."

Daniel 9:26 KJV "And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined."

Daniel 9:27 JPCT "
And he (Titus) will strengthen a covenant for the princes (of Israel) for one week (seven years), and half the week he will abolish sacrifice and meal- offering, and on high, among abominations, will be the dumb one, and until destruction and extermination befall the dumb one."

Daniel 11:31,36-39 alludes to the destruction of the Second Temple. "And arms from him will stand, and they will profane the Sanctuary, the stronghold, and they will remove the daily sacrifice, and place a silent abomination." The "mute abomination," a temple of idolatry, was erected by the emperor Hadrian on the Temple Mount (Rashi).

"And the king (the kingdom of Rome) will do as he wishes, and he will exalt himself and magnify himself over every powerful one, and about the God of the mighty he will speak wondrous things, and he will succeed until the fury is spent, when it will be finished and executed. And he will not contemplate the gods of his fathers, and the most desirable of women (the nation of Israel) and any god he will not contemplate, for he will magnify himself over all. But the god of the strongholds on its base he will honor, and the god that his ancestors did not know he will honor with gold and with silver and with precious stones and with desirable things. And he will construct for the fortresses of the strongholds with a foreign god; whomever he will recognize, he will honor increasingly, and he will give them dominion over multitudes, and he will apportion land for a price."

Daniel 8:10-14 "And it (the horn of the kingdom of Titus) grew until the host of heaven, and it cast down to the ground some of the host and of the stars (Israel) and trampled them. And until the Prince of the host it grew, and through him the daily sacrifice was removed, and the base of His Sanctuary was cast down." Through his troops and his armies, which he sent to Jerusalem, the daily sacrifice was abolished, for he sent there Nero Caesar, his general. "And a time will be given for the daily sacrifice because of transgression, and it will cast truth to the earth (it humbled the Torah of truth), and it will do and prosper.

Then I heard one holy one speaking, and one holy one said to the anonymous one who was speaking, "How long will be the vision of the daily sacrifice and the mute abomination, permitting the Sanctuary and the host to be trampled?" And he said to me, "Until evening and morning, two thousand and three hundred, and the holy ones shall be exonerated." (see also Daniel 12:11-12).

Speaking to Daniel 2,300 years ago, the angel revealed that the eleventh horn (kingdom of Titus) would inflict many painful decrees and chastisements upon Israel. "And he will speak words against the Most High, and he will oppress the high holy ones, and he will think to change the times and the law, and they will be delivered into his hand until a time, two times, and half a time. And the judgment shall be established, and they will remove his dominion to be destroyed and annihilated until the end. And the kingdom and the dominion and the greatness of the kingdoms under all the heavens will be given to the people of the high holy ones; its kingdom is a perpetual kingdom, and all dominions will serve and obey [it]" (Daniel 7:25-27, 2:31-35,40-44).

The Christian term "Antichrist" or the "Dajjal" in Islamic term,  is often applied to prophecies regarding a "little horn" in Daniel 7:24-25. They also interpret Daniel 9:27 as referring to the Antichrist
(2 Thess. 2:3-12) who will rule and reign for seven years during the Tribulation (Matthew 24:21). And some considers Daniel 11:36-37 that speaks of a self exalting king to be the Antichrist. Daniel 8:23-25 speaks of a "brazen-faced king" (Titus)...  "and without strength he will be broken" through a mosquito, the weakest of creatures, which entered his nose, (Tractate Gittin (56b). However, all these verses speaks on none other than Titus and the kingdom of Rome and not about a fictional Antichrist.

2 Thess. 2:3 - 4,8 is describing the "Antichrist" as the "lawless one" (which in reality it was Titus and the kingdom of Rome, Daniel 7:25, 8:25, 11:36). "He (the Antichrist who) takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God, whom Jesus of Nazareth will destroy by his 2. coming" (2:4,8), - the scenario to this fiction is taken from Isaiah 14:14, which speaks of the cataclysmic downfall of Nebuchadnezzar and Ezekiel 28:2, which speaks of none other than Hiram, king of Tyre.

Isaiah 14:13- 15 "And you (the king of Babylon, v 4) said to yourself, 'To the heavens will I ascend, above God's stars will I raise my throne, and I will sit on the mount of the assembly (Mount Zion), in the farthest end of the north.I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will liken myself to the Most High.' But into the nether world shall you be brought down, to the bottom of the pit."

Ezekiel 28:2 'Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyre: Thus saith the Lord GOD: because thy heart is lifted up, and thou hast said: I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the heart of the seas; yet thou art man, and not God, though thou didst set thy heart as the heart of God--"

LISTEN FOR FREE: Daniel Nines 70 Weeks By Rabbi Tovia Singer

To his firstborn ox is [given] glory..." God said to Moshe: “And you shall give some of your majesty to him. "His horns are the horns of a re'em. With them, he will gore peoples together [throughout all] the ends of the earth these are the myriads of Ephraim, and these are the thousands of Manasseh" (Deut. 33:13-17, 49:22-26, Jeremiah 33:15-18, Zechariah 6:12-13). The ox is driven to and fro over the threshing floor in order to stamp out the grains/wheat from the chaff (the wicked) with his hoofs.

"Alas! for that day (the War of Gog & Magog) is great, so that none is like it, and it is a time of trouble unto Jacob, but out of it shall he (the Jews) be saved" (Jeremiah 30:7-11, 31:10-13).

Special Sderot Prayer Added to Arsenal By Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu: And may these verses, written at the hand of Isaiah Your prophet, be fulfilled for us (Isaiah 41:10-16): "Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not dismay, for I am your G-d. I have adopted you and helped you and supported you with the right hand of My righteousness.

All who rage against you shall be ashamed and disgraced... those who war against you will be as nothingness. For I am the Lord your G-d, Who hold up your right arm and says to you, 'Do not fear, I will help you.' Do not be afraid, O worm Jacob, O little Israel, for I will help you, says G-d and your Redeemer, the Holy of Israel."

"The family of Jacob is weak as a worm, which has no power except in its mouth" (Rashi). God promises that He will turn this tiny nation, whose only power lies in the words of Torah and prayer which they "chew" day by day, into a new (i.e. not blunt) threshing instrument, that will be BAAL PIPHIYOTH – i.e. it will have an abundance of MOUTHS that will "grind up" the mighty, powerful nations of the earth (Targum). See Ezekiel 39:17-22, Isaiah 25:6-9, Deut. 32:10-14, Psalm 78:19-20).

"Behold, I will make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth. You will thresh the mountains (nations) and crush them, and reduce the hills (kingdoms) to chaff. You shall fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the storm wind shall carry them - and you shall rejoice in the Lord, and shall glory in the Holy One of Israel" (see also Daniel 2:35).

And may You redeem us completely and speedily, and may we merit to see the Messiah, son of David, crowned in his crown, and the Messiah, son of Joseph, complete in his glory and his beauty in the building of our Holy Temple, speedily in our days, Amen, may it be Your will."
